Story
I should’ve known Lincoln Pierce was trouble from the moment I held my knife to his throat. I’ve been running for most of my life, hiding away in a small town and hoping no one discovers who I truly am. The only problem is that I can never let anyone know the real me. Or at least that was true until my brother moved his best friend onto our shared property. Now, I’m stuck trying to avoid the nosy billionaire’s probing questions and piercing stares. And it doesn’t help that I almost killed him the first time we met.

Linc and Arden, I loved them!!! Their story is everything I hoped it would be. I couldn't wait to see what Catherine had in store for them. I was not disappointed. I listened to this one and I couldn't get over the perfect mix that was Sebastian York & Samantha Brentmoor. I've listened to several of Samantha's lately and she is becoming my favorite female narrator. Her voice fit Arden perfectly.
Arden's story has been hinted at just enough in the rest of the series. I knew she was special and it was a joy to watch Linc discover that too. As always the suspense was phenomenal. I did not guess correctly. LOL, but I almost love it when that happens even more than when I do.

The book my heart needed right now!!
Reviewed: 11-19-24
This book had everything I love in a book going on. I am a sucker for any book involving a baker. Put baking with a hockey romance and I’ll beg you to take my money.
I love the Sparrow Falls series every member of this family has taken a piece of my heart. Small Town Romance and Found Family are the shining stars here as Cope and Sutton meet. Sutton’s son Luca is falling in love with everything Hockey. When a hockey camp is starting in town, the single working mom does everything she can to make Luca’s dreams come true. Hockey superstar Cope aka The Reaper is back in town to help coach the camp and just happens to be Luca’s hero.
Luca and Cope together omg just melted my heartstrings. Their relationship was so special and to watch Cope help Luca see his potential in hockey and help nurture that talent. SOOO Good!
Sutton and Cope’s chemistry was apparent from their first meeting in the camp parking lot. Sutton isn’t feeling a relationship of any kind with another athlete after her ex-husband and their life together went up in flames. But Cope steps in to be the protector and caregiver they both need to heal and move on. I just love Cope and everything he did for Sutton and Luca in this story.
It wouldn’t be the book I was after it didn’t have a Catherine-worthy suspense happening and did it ever live up. I LOVE trying to guess what’s going to happen in Catherine’s books. I wasn’t even close this time. My yell of surprise was 100 percent real. LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!
I listened to the audiobook of this one. I highly recommend. Connor Crais was the perfect choice for Cope. He brought this character to life. Erin Mallon was incredible as always. These two together in a dual narration was a major win.
I can’t wait to see what else Sparrow Falls has to offer.

Story
The scowl should’ve been my first clue to stay far away from Anson Hunt. The sexy smirk and the fact that he’s my brother’s best friend? Reasons two and three. Not to mention, he’s the new contractor working on my house. He’s everything I’m not: grumpy, rude, and more than a little attached to his solitude. It doesn’t matter how many times I try to kill him with kindness; the man simply won’t crack. Until he sees me shatter. Because when my world comes crashing down around me, Anson is the one catching me as I fall.

I am thrilled!! There is a new Catherine Cowles world to dive into. I couldn’t wait to meet a new batch of friends and neighbors haha. It did not disappoint. I’m looking forward to finding out what stories and secrets every character has to reveal.
This series starts with Anson and Rhodes (love the name). Grumpy-Sunshine at its best. I loved that despite her tragic beginning Rhodes has the best outlook on life. She is the perfect amount of sunshine to brighten up Anson’s dark past. So much was here in this book. I loved almost the two stories happening side by side. Anson’s past that was never far behind mixed with Rhodes and her increasingly frightening present. I couldn’t read fast enough. I had to know what was going to happen. I am pleased to say I did not see it coming with this story. An absolute thrill ride to read.

Midnight of Ashes confirmed what I suspected after book 1. This is my FAVORITE Tessa Hale series and that is saying something, my friends. This was my most anticipated read. It was worth every bit of wait. I read this on my Kindle with the audio going at the same time. I couldn't make up my mind about which I wanted to do. So decided why choose?
I enjoyed Midnight of Ashes, it let us in to see a little more of every character. Thoughts and feelings galore. I loved it! The way the harem ;) come together to give Hayden everything she needs from them. It was what I'd been waiting for from this group after that gut punch of a cliffhanger from book 1. I loved reading more about what happens with a female dragon in this world. I'm looking forward to everything Book 3 brings in Hayden's journey there.
Can we just talk about the audio for this series for a minute? I mean wow! what an amazing cast.
Vanessa Moyen brought so much emotion and depth to Hayden that it made every part of this story come alive. The men in this series are brought to life by what can only be described as perfection. Joe Arden, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Teddy Hamilton, and Zachary Webber are the icing on an epic RH cake.
I'll end this by saying I know going into this there is gonna be a cliff but it's something extra special in a book when it ends and you yell NOOO! don't end there! Haha!! 5 stars!!!

Five years ago, I nearly lost everything. But there was a glimmer of hope on that darkest night. There was him—a stranger I could never forget. Now, I’m finally getting the fresh start I’ve longed for. But when I show up to interview for a nanny position in the small mountain town, the single dad has startlingly familiar blue eyes. Eyes that have haunted my dreams for the past five years. Lawson Hartley is everything I know I can’t have. Older, handsome, and my boss.

I have loved this series. Im sad to see it go but I couldn't be happier to be wrapping it up with Lawson.
I have been crushing on him the whole time. Ha I love when a character in a series story is told a little in each book so by the time you get there you feel as if you know them so well like family. I known the whole time it would be a special woman to meet him and Hallie was perfection. I absolutely adored her way with Luke. It was great to finally unravel that thread too. Drew and Charlie were too cute for words.
Ashes of You was the perfect piece to the Lost & Found puzzle. I know this will be a go to reread series for me. I've already started a mini reread with the audio of this book and let me tell you. It does not disappoint.

The last thing I expected was him. A surly, broody mountain of a man who helps me save an injured deer in a snowstorm. Now, Roan Hartley keeps showing up with his glowers and grimaces. But they only make his rare smiles and the gentle way he talks to my daughter mean that much more. When forces from my past find us, Roan is determined to keep us safe—even if that means sleeping on my ancient couch every night.

My favorite audio performance this year
Reviewed: 10-22-23
I have to say that Roan has intrigued me from the beginning of this series. Aspen has had me full of curiosity with every little tease of her in previous books. Put them together and you have a can’t-miss book of Grumpy/Sunshine goodness.
I devoured their story as soon as it popped up on my Kindle. I couldn’t wait to read it a second time with the audiobook. After reading it twice and in two forms, I will say Catherine not only gave me one of my favorite books of the year but also my favorite audio. The narration was 5-star quality on its own. Maxine Mitchell knocked this out of the park. Her performance as Cady was magical. The best kid voice I've ever heard. We all know that Zachary Webber is the GOAT. He is always the perfect choice for Catherine’s heroes.
Roan and Aspen have a beautiful story. I think they were made for each other. Each chapter was like a puzzle piece being added. They just kept falling into the perfect places.
This book was everything I hoped it would be. I’ll end by saying of course you should pick this one up to read. I do highly suggest the audiobook.
5 stars!!

I love a second chance romance trope. They are my absolute favorite. I have been picturing how Xander and Lorelei’s would unfold from the moment we met them. I love that we the readers are kept in the dark waiting to find what ripped them apart years ago when they are very obviously soulmates. My heart hurt for both of them. All of these intense feelings fighting to come to the surface while the six of them are racing to break the curse of Hallows End. It made for one explosive ride.
Xander wants nothing more than Lorelei to be safe and protected, even if that means she continues to hate him. Lorelei has finally come home. She’s trying to move on from a hurt caused years ago and find a way to help her cousins and the people of Hallows End all while facing Xander and the hurt she's been running from all of these years. Lorelei and Xander must find a way back to each other if they are going to be successful in breaking the curse.
This series was so special because in the middle of all the suspenseful, exciting, and spine-tingling paranormal goodness. There is an element of real emotions the characters bring. That is just a Kristen Proby specialty. Her characters can always leap of the page and right into your head. You can care about them as if you know them. You experience everything with these six people just like you were there. Salem's Song was a thrilling conclusion to the Curse of the Blood Moon series

It's time to play my favorite game. It's called Can I guess what thrilling twist Catherine Cowles will come up with next? I love it when I'm right but almost more when I'm right. Haha!!!! I was pretty excited to guess correctly on this one. I couldn't wait to talk about it with all my friends.
Grae and Caden have a long history together. It's full of all the thrilling ups of first love and the downs of how everything can change in an instant. In Glimmers we get to experience it all the good and the bad and how Grae and Caden can make their way back to each other.
I've loved the quick glimpses of Grae and Caden in the rest of this series. I couldn't wait for their story to unfold. The characters, backstories, and relationship ties are a thing of beauty in this book. Every feeling was right there on the page to experience and share. I loved every beautiful minute of this read.
I listened to this one I was sold with finding out Joe Arden was Caden. He can drop me me right in the very heart of a story. Erin Mallon is always perfection. Her voice lended just the right energy for the brave, beautiful, and ready to take charge Grae. It’s been one of my favorite audios I’ve listened to this year.
