This was fun! It’s far cheesier than I thought it would be but you just have to not take it too seriously. The romance was cute and the characters were a great time. Narrator did a good job.

Exciting, unpredictable, romantic and so good!!

First, the narration was fantastic! Second, get this book! It’s so much better than I expected. The characters were engaging and I became invested in all of them. The story is, for a fantasy book, incredibly creative and interesting. The romance was believable and had depth. Relationships between the characters were top tier. The ending? The twists? SO GOOD. I cannot wait for the next book. Can it come out sooner??

This was a wild ride, an exciting love story with a feral, intriguing heroine and a loyal, charming, gruff love interest. The world building was so good and ending was fantastic!!!! Had my jaw on the floor a few times.
The male narrator left a little to be desired, but the female one (who does most the narrating) was great.

If you’re looking for romance where you’ll be squealing with delight, this is it. The main character is absolutely hilarious, the love story is unique, and it’s surprisingly emotionally impactful. The narration is spot on. While it’s not heavy or graphic, I will include a content warning that it does cover death, grief, and child abuse (and covers them well, in my opinion). Overall, I’ll be listening again and this book will stay with me for some time 10/10 loved it!
