AI reading about shallow characters

I only finished this collection because I started it. The reader was AI. Emotionless reading, no pauses between chapters, mispronounced words. Some of the stories were so short it forced the plot to be incredibly shallow, as well as the characters. So much so, I wouldn’t be surprised if the stories were also written by AI, not just read by AI.

Overall a good story. Most characters have depth. Most of the dialect was pretty close. Fiction woven well into the history. The strength of character of the local people and their culture was treated respectfully and positively, thank you. Many writers don’t for this part of the country.
I do recommend readers learning the local pronunciations of locations, especially when they are significant to the story vs a passing detail. We don’t pronounce Rowan County (significant detail) the way the reader does. Or Louisville (not significant detail).
