this title was supposed to be by Edgar Allan Poe it's not it's by a whole bunch of people that you never really hear of when you hear about Syfy readers or short stories for that matter this is a flagrant example of a bait and switch.. I do not recommend this title

I've always enjoyed Robert Jordan's books not.. but the reader really brought the story to life and I really appreciate that... I love being taken to his realm of fantasy...

Story
George Orwell depicts a gray, totalitarian world dominated by Big Brother and its vast network of agents, including the Thought Police - a world in which news is manufactured according to the authorities' will and people live tepid lives by rote. Winston Smith, a hero with no heroic qualities, longs only for truth and decency. But living in a social system in which privacy does not exist and where those with unorthodox ideas are brainwashed or put to death, he knows there is no hope for him.

The performances in this book are outstanding... brings the book to life in a way I didn't think possible... it adds to George Orwell's true focus... You really feel the desolation... and exhilaration... highly recommend...

Story
In this modern version of the fairy tale classic, Alice is madly in love with a man who taps into her naturally submissive nature and introduces her to the pleasurably painful delights of the BDSM world. When her Wade Knight sends a car to take her to a strange and wonderful new place, Alice finds herself in a very sticky situation where everything is upside down and nothing is as it seems.

I didn't like this book... I would not recommend it... The author let you down with every page... Plus the ending is a cliffhanger... I would not read anymore of this author... and that's my opinion... so be it...
