Story
In 1991, acting on a tip from a local fisherman, two scuba divers discovered a sunken German U-boat, complete with its crew of 60 men, not too far off the New Jersey coast. The divers, realizing the momentousness of their discovery, began probing the mystery. Over the next six years, they became expert and well-traveled researchers, taught themselves German, hunted for clues in Germany, and constructed theories corrective of the history books, all in an effort to identify this sunken U-boat and its crew.

Great book!

I've heard one other book by this narrator and I swore I would never put myself through that again. I didn't notice right away that it was the same guy and by the time I did I wanted to hear the story bad enough to give him another try.
I'm glad I did because it was one of the best books I've read/heard in a long time. The narrator did a fantastic job and the story had me hooked right away. I found myself leaving work all week right at rush hour just so I could get in some more book time.

Story
Outside of Pakistan, the world's highest concentration of al-Qaeda lurks in South-East Asia, and there Nick Stone's bosses get wind of an act of terror that will dwarf even the nightmare of 9/11. When Stone is despatched to Malaysia by the CIA to assassinate a biochemist, he expects his mission to be a straightforward part of the fight against Bin Laden. But there are complications, not least because he is working alongside an attractive woman whose motives he doesn't fully understand.
