The author must be bucking for woke man of the year. I wanted to like this. It has a good underlying story, but the author starts to really stretch credulity. I mean I get it-its a quasi zombie story but come on. It's a world where Ruth Bader Ginsburg cage fights the Rock and wins. Men are hairy knuckle dragging effeminate cro magnons who can barely say ooga booga, and women are beautiful, genius, sophisticated, brave, ass kickers. Even pre pubescent teenage girls are smarter that the most experienced operators. I paid for it so I am going to finish it but just be prepared if you buy it. Hey maybe its your kind of story. :)

I finished the set. All six books. It was a good listen, but it is not a survival story. Think more of Lord of the Rings with a woman as the hero. Not sure if I would listen to another like it. Heroines are not my thing.

I find the author's stereotyping of people who live in the south as being "moronic" 'fat' "imbeciles" quite offensive. Clearly he is small minded and childish.

Seldom do trilogies hold me through, this one did. It was well written and well read. I hated to turn it off. 5 STARS

Would you try another book from David Meade and/or Dean Wendt?

Nope

What was most disappointing about David Meade’s story?

Three percent Planet X, ninety seven percent proselytizing. This should be called Book of Dreams. Author goes on and on and on about people's dreams whom I have never heard of. So and so had a dream about Red Dragons, Christ talking to him, Enoch, etc etc. If you are looking for Planet X information, look elsewhere because it is not here.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Narrator was fine

What disappointed you about Gray Barker's Bigfoot Shootout!?

The title if not a misdirection is an outright lie. This is a book about that has about 1/1000th conflicts and 999/1000th psychobabble. If you are looking for information about primates in North America having conflicts with humans this is not the book for you. If you want to know about bigfoots piloting UFOs for the Greys, telepathic bigfoots giving humans messages about saving the world (and great recipes for hot chili), cloaking bigfoots, indian spirits making appearances, gnomes, elementals, great skyspirits, dragons, bigfoots hypnotizing you, bigfoots being a race of martians who are teleporting around the universe, witches, golems, orcs, blue orbs, red orbs, yellow orbs, vision quests, dreams, and lastly bigfoots being californian pot farmers...this is your book. I have never seen a more ridiculous collection of nonsense anywhere outside of a New Age doobie smoking convention...and I believe that bigfoot exists. I was duped by the title, dont waste your time on this nonsense and dont listen to the other reviewers unless you believe in this new age foolishness.

What was most disappointing about Gray Barker and Andrew Colvin ’s story?

The entire collection

Would you be willing to try another one of Brian Ackley’s performances?

Maybe

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

yeah, it was cheap

Any additional comments?

Dont waste your time
