About this listen

Predator ships stream into human space in unprecedented numbers. The Colonial Marines, controlled by Weyland-Yutani, respond to the incursion, thus entering the Rage War. This terrifying assault by the Yautja cannot go unchallenged, yet the cost of combat is high.

Predators are master combatants, and each encounter yields a high body count. Then, when Lt. Johnny Mains and his marines - the VoidLarks - enter the fray, they discover an enemy deadlier than any could imagine.

Audiobook one in an epic trilogy that continues in Alien: Invasion and concludes in Aliens vs. Predator: Armageddon. The universe will forever be changed.

There was too much torture for shock value as it didn't seem to further the story line at all. Repeated and drawn out scenes desensitize the listener rather than add to the horror. I actually skipped a chunk of it trying to get back to some kind of story.

I also got confused as to whose pov it was at times.

I'm kind of bummed because I've loved the Alien stories. I also count the movie Alien vs Predator among my favorite monster/horror movies so I was really looking forward to this audiobook series

I wanted to love this ...

I like how they develop the plot. the development of the xenomorph was different then I thought, but it did make sense.

The basis of the series is well set up, good mix of high tech suits and weaponry, but including a fair mix of blood and guts. Looking forward to the next.

The start of a interesting series

Predator Vs. Alien, this time it doesn't suck

Any additional comments?

so often we have seen this franchise done a huge disservice with lackluster adaptations that do not follow official cannon, this is not one of those times. excellent story.

this is a filmworthy story. FANtastic!

Took forever to finish but wasn’t a bad book, the narration was excellent but it definitely wasn’t the best Predator book I’ve read but not the worst. Not sure I’m gonna continue the series but I’m glad I finished the book.

Not the best but not bad.
