Story
My husband is a doctor. He’s smart and charming, and everybody trusts him. Except me. On the surface, it looks like I have it all–the perfect marriage, the perfect husband, the perfect life. But it’s far from the truth. Doctor Drew Devlin is not the respectable figure he makes out to be. The reason we moved to this beautiful, old property with a gorgeous view of the sea was because we needed to put our past behind us. It should’ve been a fresh start for us both.

The ending was so disappointing. It ended and I was left feeling, is that it? She should have built on the ending. I’m not going to read any more of her books.

What did you like about this audiobook?
The Great Alone has every element that makes a book great. The characters were likable and believable. The experiences and emotions they lived you did too. What a wonderful journey. I highly recommend this book!
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
I am planning a trip to Alaska!
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
The characters were well developed. Alaska and its wilderness was presented in a very colorful way. The story with it's ups and down was a roller coaster of emotions.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
Nothing was wrong - it was all good!
Do you have any additional comments?

Story
Two classic stories of finding love where you least expect it! Marriage Wanted: As far as Nash Davenport's concerned, marriage isn't shelter from the storm - it is the storm. He's a divorce attorney, himself divorced, who believes no married couple can live up to their wedding vows. My Hero: Would-be romance writer Bailey York has already failed twice at love. She thinks men are wonderful to read and write about, but that's it. Which is probably why she has such difficulty creating a hero for her novel. What she needs is a real-life example.

Too predictable

The women in the stories were so dopey. They were an embarrassment . I found them incredibly irritating , so I listened to the book at 1.5 times the speed to get it over with. Sappy - Yuck.

I disliked this book immensely. A sad group of stories with no beginning or ending. Still shaking my head and rolling my eyes.
