Story
Ever since Domitian Argenis recognized Sarita as his life mate, he's been waiting for the perfect moment to claim her. Those fantasies did not include him being chained to a table in a secret lab or both of them being held hostage by a mad scientist. Somehow, they have to escape. Sarita has seen some crazy things as a cop, but nothing to rival Domitian. A vampire? Seriously? But his healing ability, his incredible powers, and their mind-blowing physical connection - none of it should be possible, yet her body knows differently.

Story was AMAZING but narrator was horrendous!
Reviewed: 05-31-17
Because it was so horrendous I must say FIRST, the narrator was God awful! He was so horrible and over the top I couldn't take anything seriously. I am a huge fan of the Argeneanu series & have never rated a story below 5 BUT this narrator is a joke. I mean, really, if you can read this book - pass on the audio version. We have a couple months until the next book in this series is released anyway.
Aside from the terrible narrator, this book was one of the best!! There are twists & turns at all corners! I was on the edge of my seat... nothing was expected and I loved the humor AND the characters.
I have fallen In love with the Argeneau's & the Note's! *sigh* I'm just waiting for my life mate to come and scoop me up!
Well done Mrs. Leslie!

This was one of my favorites thus far. Lynsay Sands totally shocked me with this one! Kept me, as always,
On the edge of my seat.
A lot of people are crying about the narrator but honestly she's grown on me. The first
Book I heard her narrate I wasn't fond of but I rather enjoy her now. She's not too real bad. ;-)

Nicholas Argeneau was once a successful hunter who went after rogue vampires who broke the immortal law. Except no one has mentioned his name in the last fifty years, not since he turned into a rogue himself. But once a hunter, always a hunter. When Nicholas sees a bloodthirsty sucker terrifying a woman, it's second nature for him to come to her rescue. He had no idea he would also want to kiss her senseless.

Another awesome book by Lynsay Sands! This is another one that kept me on the edge of my seat. I had to listen while I cooked, while I exercised, drove, and showered. Haha, loved it! I'm anticipating starting the next book to get Nicholas' whole story! Hopefully a few things are revealed! Anyway, Lynsay doesn't disappoint!

This is another excellent story by Lynsay Sands. It had a nice twist that mixed things up a bit from the previous stories.
I love the consistency in her books and the mentioning of past characters as well.
These are written so well that I wish I as an important! I'm half convinced that I'm destined to be a life mate to some sexy immortal man! ...eh, probably not BUT I wouldn't mind re-in acting one of those steamy scenes!
All in all this is a great story, humorous parts, sexy parts, a nice break from the serious plots beforehand. On the way to purchase the next audiobook!

Wow... what did I like/dislike? Whom would I recommend this book too? Why did I choose this ratin?"g?
Reviewed: 09-30-16
I... just.. wow! What an amazing story. I am not a fan of nonfiction, I didn't realize this was some sort of biography or I probably wouldn't have listened to it. But boy am I glad I did! It's not your typical "run of the mill" biography. This story has changed how I view some things. Augusten has probably become one of my favorite people/authors' in a matter of hours, simply listening to him tell his story from ages 10-17. It is a wonder this child thrived and is even alive to tell his story. I liked his writing style, his sense of humor, and how Augusten viewed the world. It's fresh and in a way, so innocent.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is lost. This book will give you a different perspective on life.
I gave 5 stars all across the board. It was written beautifully and I would hope as accurate as possible. But getting to know this man through his words I somehow believe everything he is saying. I feel as if he was reading to me from his journal. I also think it was a great decision to read his story himself, it made it much more personal.
I would LOVE nothing more than to meet Augusten Burroughs and have dinner with him, to talk to him,
Thank you for your story, Mr. Burroughs! I sure hope you have your Saab.
