I did get transformative information from this book so thank you for that, however,
some hopefully helpful observations:
1) voice inflection during reading of the book is monotonous. Nearly every sentence ends with the same downward voice inflection. It sounds like a list of sentences is being read instead of an explanation of thoughts.
2) the downloadable PDF should contain the exercises and example lists not just topic quotes from the book.
3) I get that in conversation we aren't always as polished when speaking and some 'uhs', 'ums' 'you knows' make it more real and relatable but for high-level professional coaches Try toastmasters please, or listen to public speakers like some of the more polished recent political candidates. Ums & you knows are wasted filler for when you are trying to think of what to say next or you are distracted, it always degrades the message you are trying to convey. You don't say those filler words in your head when you are thinking, so why should you say them when you speak a thought? For those reasons, a polished speaker has so much more credibility.

Story
Money is a technological tool that communicates settlement between parties. The ultimate goal of money is to transmit trust within context, typically over time and over space. The distinction of the need for value settlement between time and space has allowed for a separation between commodity and currency. The dollar has arguably been the closest we have seen to succeeding at both of these tasks until the launch of Bitcoin at the start of 2009.

Story
Trauma is a fact of life. Veterans and their families deal with the painful aftermath of combat; one in five Americans has been molested; one in four grew up with alcoholics; one in three couples have engaged in physical violence. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, has spent more than three decades working with survivors. In The Body Keeps the Score, he uses recent scientific advances to show how trauma literally reshapes both body and brain, compromising sufferers’ capacities for pleasure, engagement, self-control, and trust.

content was great, written in easy to understand language and many case examples. reads like a novel but with factual, credible info. I loved the survey of various types of treatments emdr, ifs, neural feedback, staging, drama/theatre's, etc. The book doesn't talk about legacy trauma- how trauma experienced in a parent affects their children. The reader of this book was excellent. he seemed so we'll acquainted and engaged with the content my daughter thought the book was read by the author!

since 3yrs into my limited ability to study investing and actually invest, I found this book to be missing a lot of explanations on terminology and concepts. its was like starting to read a book with twisting plots in the middle. I felt lost a good part of the way. also, the narrator's voice wasn't my favorite among audio books.

For thousands of years those of Ra have sought to teach the Law of One to seekers of truth on Earth who wished to learn of the unity or oneness of all things. This basic law of all creation is buried deep within each of our hearts because we really are one in love and in light, the building blocks of the universe. We are all manifestations of the one infinite creator. We are the creator. We are not learning this law for the first time but are remembering it yet again as all mystics have taught throughout Earth’s history.

Story
In 1714, England's Parliament offered a huge reward to anyone whose method of measuring longitude could be proven successful. The scientific establishment--from Galileo to Sir Isaac Newton--had mapped the heavens in its certainty of a celestial answer. In stark contrast, one man, John Harrison, dared to imagine a mechanical solution--a clock that would keep precise time at sea, something no clock had been able to do on land. And the race was on....

Richard has the best, most soothing voice. He's so practical in his wisdom which he extends with such humility. I find that listening while I'm on the way to work or to a business appointment gives me a more grounded frame to work from as his words echo in my mind. I want to put more of these truths into practice. I've already started the book again from the beginning. Wonderful book!
