Story
The Vega twins are alive. Those five words circle in my mind like an oncoming storm. They change everything about the future we thought had been set in stone. They challenge everything we were raised to be and the stability of the entire kingdom. They’re coming to our academy looking for the life that was stolen from them, but we can’t let them take it back. So much hangs in the balance and we can’t risk the arrival of two naïve princesses destroying everything we worked so hard for. I have stood in the shadow of Lionel Acrux for far too long already.

I’m not sure how I missed this book first time around. I appreciate the second POV from the boys side. There are a lot of details. At first you think the boys are just cruel and built like that but hearing their side it makes more sense!

The movie was more detailed
Reviewed: 11-30-24
In this case I believe the movie was a bit more detailed for some of my favorite spots. Like when fawks heals Harry. Or when Dobby becomes a free elf. There are some parts in the book that aren’t in the movie though.

Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Could not stop listening!
Reviewed: 11-08-24
Asa is way smarter than he lets on. And the amount of times the Justice system fails Sloan is mind blowing. The plot twists got crazier and crazier each time. And I like how the book actually references what living with someone with a mental illness is actually like.

Hard to follow
Reviewed: 10-28-24
Overall the story wasn’t terrible but it was extremely hard to follow. I didn’t get captured into the book until around chapter 40 because I really wanted to give this book a chance. I love Arrows and Bryanlees relationship and how good they mesh together.
It took me until chapter 53 to realize what arrow was trying to do and set up the whole time. I’m happy they were able to get their revenge aswell.
