Story
Following Jane from her childhood as an orphan in Northern England through her experience as a governess at Thornfield Hall, Charlotte Brontë's Gothic classic is an early exploration of women's independence in the mid-19th century and the pervasive societal challenges women had to endure. At Thornfield, Jane meets the complex and mysterious Mr. Rochester, with whom she shares a complicated relationship that ultimately forces her to reconcile the conflicting passions of romantic love and religious piety.

Story
Sparrow “Ro” Meadowcroft is about to get the promotion she’s always dreamed of–curator of the museum where she works. She loves old things and the history that surrounds them, so when a patron leaves some items to the museum, Ro is eager to dig in. The sword in the stone that comes with those items is clearly a joke. A well-made but obvious replica meant to be a conversation starter. Why anyone would think that belonged in the museum is beyond her, but she can’t resist taking a crack at it and finding out if she’s the chosen one. And as it turns out...she is.

Ever wondered what Bones was thinking and feeling, when he and half-vampire Cat Crawfield first met? Or how their story might differ if he were the one telling it? Now, relive the beginning of Cat and Bones' best-selling love story through Bones' point of view, which reveals a darker, sexier take on their early days, as well as a deeper dive into Bones' past, the vampire world, and other things that Cat didn't see, when their story was told only through her eyes in Halfway to the Grave. I’ve been wanting to hear this series in Bones’ point of view for years and Jeaniene didn’t disappoint. Will M. Watt was the perfect person to narrate this book, I could listen to him all day. Now when I listen to the original with Tavia Gilbert I hear his voice as Bones instead of Tavia’s high pitch (sorry Tavia). I hope she will continue on with the rest of the books in his POV, that would be heaven to me. 🙏🏼

Story
Charlotte McBee knows she’s in for a challenge when she accepts a job as midwife for a dragon and a phoenix shifter. Being a fairy herself, it isn’t the supernatural world that scares her. It’s the thought of delivering a giant metal dragon’s egg, which has her gritting her teeth in pain for poor Jillian, the anxious mother-to-be. While preparing for the big event, a handsome town resident catches her eye. Leonard is kind, charming, and a little bit mysterious. He’s also suffering from a highly unusual condition brought on by an ancient fairy curse.

Story
In Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen brought together one of the most beloved literary couples of all time - Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. Now, Mr. Darcy's Decision continues the story of these passion-filled newlyweds as they enter London’s glamorous high society. This pause-resisting novel finds Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy entangled in the frivolity and ferocity of social intrigues.

Annoying
Reviewed: 12-03-20
The narrator was so annoyingly monotone I couldn’t listen after 15 minutes into the book. She sounds just like she is reading a book aloud to herself as apposed an audience. She had no character differentiating tone or emotional inflections as she read. I just fast forwarded to the end to write this review. Hopefully it will be re-released with another narrator because I would really like to listen to this book.

This is NOT Mace Windu
Reviewed: 11-28-19
The way Mace is written in this book made him seem inept and over arrogant. You would honestly think he was a struggling padawan rather than a fully trained Jedi master. Also, the narration is atrocious. The book overall is a hard NOPE... Spend your cash on ice cream or something, don’t waste it on this book. You’ve been warned!
