Story
Stacy Keach and Jane Kaczmarek star in this 1949 masterpiece by Arthur Miller, a searing portrait of the physical, emotional, and psychological costs of the American dream. Willy Loman (Keach) is the play's iconic traveling salesman, whose family is torn apart by his desperate obsession with greatness and social acceptance. As his two sons cast about aimlessly for their station in life, Willy begins to come unraveled when the reality of his life threatens his long-cherished illusions.

for any sales person 60 or over who has hit the skids and lost the speed and energy of years past - this is brutal. The Old Man and the Sea would be a good companion to this but it has a more subtle hope implied.

Story
"Who am I becoming?" That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. Outwardly, he appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren’t pretty. So, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life." It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.

Barely meets the requirement to make it worthwhile

The premise of the book is spot on - that our culture has a rush problem - but it's surface level and self evident stuff here. There are no fresh ideas - as a matter of fact he quotes so many other sources (heavily from Willard and Rolheiser) that I felt like this was a Cliffsnotes of those sources. Still, it was a helpful compilation of observations and suggested remedies. Incidentally, how many times does he have to list "have sex" as an integral part of the Sabbath? That was annoying.
