Story
It all started with a spell. Arran Conall lives with the consequences of his foolishness daily, his mistakes guiding him into darkness. He had no way to know that his beloved would fall prey to the ancient magic that awaited Blaire on the day he sent her away to marry his brother. Now, the only woman to ever give pause to his philandering ways lives centuries ahead of him, out of reach while still holding on to his heart.

Oh what a web we weave

The storyline has really evolved. Love Aaron and Blair and Owen and Bree. While Adonis was definitely not a nice person, her death was very sad. Adele and Maggie are delightful. The trip to visit Aaron when they stopped to sleep was very funny and entertaining. Loving the series so far.

Story
It began nearly 400 years ago. The Conall clan and all their people were murdered in a surprise attack, their beloved castle and all evidence of who destroyed them burned to the ground with their bodies. In the centuries following, archaeologists searched through the ruins looking for any evidence of what or who had caused the untimely demise of such a powerful Scottish clan. All efforts were fruitless until a spell put in place by an ancient Conall ancestor finally began to work its magic.

What made the experience of listening to Love Beyond Time: A Scottish Time-Traveling Romance the most enjoyable?
I liked the accents and the inflection the narrator used. Enunciation was excellent. I appreciate the fact, using Audible, that I can "re-read" or re-listen to any chapter or narrative. There were a couple of times I fell asleep listening (not because it was uninteresting or boring), but because it was past midnight and appreciated the fact I could "go back to" where I left off.
What other book might you compare Love Beyond Time: A Scottish Time-Traveling Romance to and why?
Actually, I haven't read many time travels novels because I didn't THINK that I would like them, so I really don't have a comparison to date (as this is my first that I made it through). I have now changed my way of thinking thanks to Bethany Claire.
Which scene was your favorite?
Getting a sticker stuck while Bree (sp?) relieved herself was probable the most memorable :). I liked any scene with Bree when she added the comedic comments.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. I actually have found a new pastime for my lunch hours and my new car audio system - radio can be so repetitious with news and music. This is a great medium (listening to books). I tend to fall asleep easily while reading any book for any length of time, so this works perfect.
Any additional comments?
I have already recommended the author and the Audible app to others. Great job !!
