Bethany Claire
A hunky Scottish laird. A time-traveling teacher. A tragic history only she can prevent.
Schoolteacher Brielle "Bri" Montgomery wonders where all the good men have gone. They certainly don't waltz through her meticulous life in Texas. Venturing out of her comfort zone, she joins her archaeologist mother on a dig in Scotland…and finds herself transported 400 years into the past. Shocked and bewildered, Bri learns she's just moments away from marrying an impossibly sexy Scotsman....
Eoin Conall has no interest in wedding the woman who irritates him to no end. But with the promise to his dying father fresh in his mind, he ties the knot with his insufferable bride. To his surprise, something has changed about her. Something irresistible. Could he be falling for the wife he never wanted?
With the chiseled man of her dreams standing before her, Bri wishes she wasn't well aware of history's impending slaughter of Eoin and the entire Conall Clan. Unable to accept his gruesome fate, she sets out to rewrite history.
Will Bri and Eoin succeed in protecting their impossible romance or is their heartbreaking fate already sealed?
Love Beyond Time is the first book in the enchanting Morna’s Legacy series of time-travel romances. If you like sexy highlanders, strong-willed heroines, and adventures that transport you across time, then you’ll love Bethany Claire's sweeping pause-resister.

Would you try another book from Bethany Claire and/or Lily Collingwood?
Though I really didn't enjoy the first, I knew where it was leading and thought the second had potential. So, I got the second...it's worse than the first. I won't get books from either author or narrator again.Would you be willing to try another book from Bethany Claire? Why or why not?
I just can't enjoy her style. It's very mushy. The second book is way over the top mushy and the sex scenes are painful to listen to.What three words best describe Lily Collingwood’s performance?
Dreadful Scottish AccentsIf this book were a movie would you go see it?
No way.Any additional comments?
If you're looking for something to slake your thirst while waiting for the the next Diana Gabaldon book to come out, this won't do it for you. You definately won't find a single passage or qoute to bookmark. To my mind, there was not a single memorable conversation. The narrator over acts many of the characters, completely misses the pronounciation and the cadence that is so important in a scottish accent, and her mouth sounds very wet a good bit of the time.
Eh... bad, to so so

What did you love best about Love Beyond Time: A Scottish Time-Traveling Romance?
I enjoyed the idea of the story of people being able to travel back in time. Scotland is my favorite place to be taken back in time.Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Bri because she was able to adapt to the situations she faced.Which character – as performed by Lily Collingwood – was your favorite?
Bri was performed really well. She had an American accent and also had to learn to do a Scottish accent. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. Once I got into the time travel part, I didn't want to stop listening.Any additional comments?
I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.Wonderful Story

Would you try another book from Bethany Claire and/or Lily Collingwood?
I don't think so. After reading the Outlander series, this one seemed geared more toward high school girls looking for the romantic novel. It's light historically and fantastical, i.e., being able to write back and forth over the centuries spoils the whole time-travel genre.Would you be willing to try another book from Bethany Claire? Why or why not?
I don't think so.What about Lily Collingwood’s performance did you like?
It's been a while but there was nothing that stands out that I disliked. Was Love Beyond Time: A Scottish Time-Traveling Romance worth the listening time?
For me, no. For the inveterate romantic novel reader, it's probably a fun read, especially since it's a series and the reader can look forward to the next book.Any additional comments?
There is nothing sexier than a man in a kilt, aye?A sort of Diana Gabeldon Primer

This is a great time travel Scottish romance. This is the first book in the A Scottish Time-Traveling Romance: Mona's Legacy Series by Bethany Claire. Brielle (Bri) is a kindergarten teacher in Texas, her mother talks her into going to Scotland with her on a dig of an old castle. When Bri and her mother find an old spell room in the castle, Bri finds an old painting that looks just like her. When she starts reading the wording by the picture she finds her self transported back in time and married to the castle's laid. Bri needs to find a way back to her time period, but the longer she is with the laird she realizes that she is falling for him.The narrator Lily Collingwood did a wonderful job with the different characters and with the voices, especially the Scottish accents. She was very easy to listen to and I am looking forward to listening to more books with this narrator.
This book, kept my interests all the way to the end. If you are looking for a great hot Scottish romance then you need to read this book! I am looking forward to the next book in this series!
