In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

The Story on Her Own Terms
Reviewed: 10-30-23
Britney did a beautiful job in telling her story. Easy read and you won’t want to stop listening. Michelle Williams did the story so much justice. Cried many times during the book’s plot and I couldn’t be happier I was able to listen to it in my lifetime. Highly and without a doubt, I recommend it.

Story
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

A Great Read

I loved the rawness and edge that Goggins uses in his vernacular to capture the interest of the reader and keep it going. He truly lays out the foundation of what it means to push yourself and weeds out any unnecessary “fluff” that you get in other self-help books. It’s not a book for the weak of mind. You need to be able to be faced with the truth and then some. Highly recommended.

Best Piece I’ve Listened To!!
Reviewed: 08-07-20
I’ve quickly became obsessed with Brandi Glanville upon watching old episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so when I saw she had a book out and even better, a book on Audible, I jumped at the opportunity to listen and read it. On bed rest, I spent an entire day listening and reading the hard copy. Her narration was incredible and I love the side commentaries. Definitely will be recommending it to everyone!

Arriving to work one day to a crime scene, Flynn’s world collapses as the secrets of his tortured mind are revealed. And Flynn doesn’t want to go looking for answers at the supermarket. I never thought I could find a book and a voice to match so perfectly that lets me dive into a world like no other. I am a huge fan of what Bobby Hall a.k.a Logic has been doing for years. But this was truly a piece of art that allowed me to look at the main character and myself in another light. Agree to disagree about this book, but this book, soundtrack, and Logic’s voice has allowed me to regain a better understanding of what I want to do in life. I loved it and can’t wait for more to come.
