He wasn’t.

This is one of my favorite Tijan stories. Ash/Canary is such an interesting character. Never quite what she sees. She makes rules and breaks them but always stays true to her core. The romance is a bonus on top of a good story. The narration is also done well.

Good end to the series

Well, this part of the story was quite suspenseful! As we come to the end, twists happen, love happens, and questions are answered, followed by a lovely epilogue. I enjoyed seeing Maude's character develop all the way through the series. Em writes some great female characters. Really enjoyed the entire series. And I've definitely become a Gareth fan!

How refreshing to read, or in my case, listen to a historical story in which a woman of nobility takes charge of her own sexuality. This won't be a story for everyone, but if you like your FMCs strong, you like open bedroom, and other places doors, I believe you too will enjoy this story. Oh! And I do love Garreth Davis narrating! Off to the next one!

I have so enjoyed this series. I have listened to them all so far and I am hoping for more. This is definitely a slow burn second chance story with such lovely word play. Definitely worth a read and a listen.

It was short but fun! Take a ride on the Belle Starr (perfect name for her ship) with a coyote captain through the stars on one of her runs. Her passenger has quite the unexpected cargo.

This was short and packed a lot in. I wasn't so crazy about the insta-love but it served its purpose. I suppose it started falling apart for me when first they ran, then decided they wouldn't and just went home. Umm.. duh?! Of course you're going to get caught. Overall it was a decent way to spend some time.
