I liked all of it. This addresses so many of my challenges as an adult, from “rescuing” others, losing friends, gaining friends, wondering where my friends went, trying to still please everyone, knowing when it’s time to let go, and so so so much more. Thank you Mel Robbins!!! As evidence of the efficacy of this book, I left the house ALL evenings this week as opposed to the week before when I pondered why my friends and family never called or answered my calls. I felt like my only friends were my dogs. Now I see new
possibilities for career, friends and my personal growth.

This book contains practical wisdom for evaluating your paths in life; spiritual, financial, occupational, etc. Not surprisingly, most of us are on at least one path that does not lead us to our desired destination. Stanley offers deep and sound reasonings for why we are so off track and practical solutions for getting on course. One nugget is to seek wise counsel from those who are where we want to be. Why don’t we all do this? Pride. We don’t like being told what to do. We don’t like being wrong. We want to delude ourselves into thinking we are right. I wasted too much time and energy on wrong courses and I greatly value this book, Stanley’s clear writing, meaningful examples and time tested solutions will resonate with many audiences.
