If you were to ask a Japanese person, "what is Wabi-Sabi?", their reaction is bound to be the same. He or she may repeat your question, followed by a long pause. That is because even among Japanese people, Wabi-Sabi rarely crops up in polite conversations. They don't see the need to talk about it, so translating what they know about the discipline into words can be extremely difficult. When you finally do get an answer, you will find that the answers are almost always different. Most of them might refer to the same roots as Zen and the ceremony of the tea, but their personal experience of it is almost always different. You can ask 100 different people the same question, and you're bound to end up with 100 different answers based on their own unique perspective. Yet similar to love, there's no doubt in your mind that all the answers are correct and that they're all pertaining to the same thing. This is what makes Wabi-Sabi such a fascinating subject — one that is impossible to define using concrete words, yet universally applicable to the human experience, not only among the Japanese but humanity as a whole.

This book has clear and practical steps that one can implement at the end of each chapter. I followed each of these steps and now have a firm grasp my personal finances.

It helped introduce me to the intimidating world of investing, which I now love, and has provided me with sound principles for investing. The author infuses humor into his writing which makes it both relatable and funny.

This book was a joy to read. I would recommend it to anybody who is trying to learn financial literacy or gain control over their personal finances.

The first programming language was invented by a naval officer named Grace Hopper, and it was known as Arithmetic Language 0, or A0. It took a more user-friendly interface and, when run through a compiler, was converted into the binary code that the computer could understand. While people who have studied A0 would probably agree that it is an extremely primitive computer language that isn’t very far removed from the actual machine language, it was a huge advancement. Instead of just doing arithmetic functions, Hopper’s programming language enabled actual programs to be created and executed. Just one line of code written in A0 could be translated into dozens of instructions for the computer to execute. It paved the way for more advanced software programming that was both more complex and interoperable. After A0 came more advanced iterations, which came to be known as A1, A2, A3, on through B, and down to C. C came about in the late 1970s and was modified several times. It became one of the standard languages that programmers used, and Linus Torvalds used it when he designed the Linux kernel. C went through several upgrades, and now many programmers use C++ as part of their programming arsenal. In 1991, Guido van Rossum released Python as a high-level, general-purpose programming language. It is light years ahead of A0, but it would not have been possible without the contributions of Grace Hopper.

There is a growing industry of commercially-produced hives for sale, that is, hives that have been specially designed for the purposes of making the beekeeper’s job easier. Many of these hives are made out of artificial materials and they come in a variety of price ranges. What is important for you to know are the basic components of a beehive (also called a bee box or a hive kit), so that you can obtain one that allows you to set up your hive right where you need it to be. Some bee boxes will require some assembling, while others will be shipped already assembled. Price ranges may vary but be prepared to spend in the range of two hundred dollars and up, not to mention any investment in time that may be necessary. A more complex and expensive bee box may require more time to assemble, though some of these may come with the assembly already completed. Some people choose to construct their own bee box or beehive, and this is a good opportunity to delve more deeply into some of the components of a good constructed beehive or bee box. Although, at first glance, it may seem that a good bee box would be just that, a box for the bees to build their hive into, a bee box has several important components that encourage the bees to produce honey and wax and allow you to obtain them.

Within few years, the idea of raising chickens in the backyard has become increasingly popular across the United States. You probably have one or more neighbors with poultry in the back of their home. If you have neighbors like this, you may be lucky enough to get a fresh supply of eggs from them occasionally. However, what is really better – getting fresh eggs from your neighbors from time to time or starting your own backyard poultry? Many people consider the idea of raising hens in the backyard crazy. After all, what normal person wants to deal with all that noise and smell from the hens? If you look beyond the smell and noise, though, there are tons of benefits that come from raising hens in your own backyard. There is more than one reason why you should raise chickens, and these reasons together trump any misgivings that you may have about rearing chickens in your home. Even though the number one reason why many homeowners decide to start home poultry is egg, there are many more benefits of raising chickens in the backyard.

A good thing to remember is that you should eat about 15 to 30 grams of fast acting carbs (which includes options like fruit) about twenty minutes before and after your workout.

This guy is so easy to listen to and he makes the course interesting. Helped me better understand some of the things I knew already and made clear, things I did not! Some may prefer one or two tutorials but actually splitting the learning into bite size tutorials made it so much easier to dip and and out of the course and return to specific topics!
