I’m a fan of both the authors and narrators so this was a definite buy for me. That it was Duet style was the icing on the cake. I thought the portrayal of domestic abuse and gaslighting was done exceptionally well. This is definitely a story that I will listen to again.

I love Zachary Webber and Andi Arendt so I was looking forward to this book. TBH they were the only reason I could get through it. The story itself was good, but it was just too long. There were whole chapters that could have been reduced to paragraphs and it would not have detracted from the plot at all.

I just couldn't like this story

I really wanted to like this book, but I just couldn't. Tyler was a complete and total doormat. His forgiveness of Memphis was. for me, too easily given. After 10 years, Memphis comes back into Tyler's life, says I'm sorry about how I left, lets have sex oh and please forgive me. Then, it was also your fault on how I left you, but get over it and Tyler does.

I also wasn't impressed with Noah (Tyler's best friend). He seems to enjoy embarrassing Tyler in front of all Tyler's former ex-boyfriends and goes out of his way to push Tyler towards Memphis, despite knowing the history between them.

I kept waiting for Memphis to show remorse and stop being so self absorbed, but it never happen. The entire story seemed like a game to Memphis and I really wished Tyler would just tell Memphis to stick it and walk away. There was never a point in this book that I liked Memphis and I just couldn't forgive him for how he treated Tyler. That Tyler was willing to take the blame for Memphis leaving made me not like Tyler as well. Gaslighting much!

Unfortunately that didn't happen. I don't feel like this was a HEA, more the beginning of a very toxic relationship.

Marc Bachmann was okay, given what he had to work with, but I found his voice to harsh for Tyler's character.

I really enjoyed this story. Without giving away any spoilers, the twist in it took me by surprise. As usual Teddy Hamilton was fantastic, and while I've not listened to much done by Dake Bliss, I thought he was fine. I noted that other reviews said he sounded like a 50 year old, but I didn't get that. This was the second book in the Hello Goodbye series and I would love to see more, maybe with Jason or Jared. There were enough breadcrumbs in this story to imply there was more to their stories.

I’ve listened to this story multiple times and each time I listen my heart breaks and get put back together. Deacon and Julian go through so much and end up with the HEA they deserve. Teddy Hamilton and Tim Paige are perfect as always and I will never get tired of listening to them tell tale of loss and love.

This was a fantastic addition to the HIM/US story. My only disappointment was its length. I would have loved it to be longer, but that’s because I didn’t want it to end. As always Jacob and Teddy were wonderful.

That this story even had to be written so sad, but Kevin van Whye did a phenomenal job telling it. I would recommend everyone listen to this tale. It really puts into perspective what the LGBTQ+ community have to deal with every day.

I wasn't sure what to think of this story. Based on the blurb I figured it would be a comedy. Well it wasn't, but the story was very improbable. I had to seriously suspend belief on most of it. Having said that, it was enjoyable listening to it.. I hadn't heard anything narrated by Aaron Landon and he is someone I will be looking out for. I guess my biggest complaint is the ending. I like my stories tied up in nice bows with epilogues that let me know how things work out. This story just ends. I don't think I'd have bought it on its own, but I got it during the buy one get one sale, so I have no regrets.

Great Narration but couldn’t stand the arrogance of the MC

I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to this time. I love Lauren Blakely, but this book just didn’t do it for me. I found Chris to be arrogant and condescending toward Josh almost the entire book. I frankly don’t know what Josh saw in him at all. I don’t know if that was the influence of KD Casey as I’ve never read anything from her before, but can’t say I’m inclined if this is the type of character she writes.

The narration was top notch. Tim Page isn’t new to me and I love listening to him. JF Harding will definitely be added to my list of narrators to check out.

Unfortunately this isn’t a story I will revisit.

This is the last Sloan story. Michael wasn’t my favourite in the first book. I thought he was narrow minded and arrogant, but in his story it is revealed that those traits actually hide a deep protective and loving personality. His love story was heartbreaking (I cried - something no other audiobook has made me do to date).

The plot twists kept my heart pounding and on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what happened next. I loved all the narrators, they all seemed perfect for
the characters they portrayed. Lauren Blakely did not disappoint. This is a story I will listen to again, even knowing the ending I will still enjoy the tale.
