Ultimately, it’s US citizens who bear the responsibility of staying informed about what the CIA has done and continues to do. In these 24 engrossing lectures, explore the roles the CIA has played in recent American history, from the eve of the Cold War against communism to the 21st-century War on Terror.

Story
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

a perfect rather light hearted romp back into the Dresdenverse. While coping with Murphy's loss and his impending betrothal Harry takes a hard luck case to help a tutor being sued by a greedy ex-con with a high paid lawyer. This story harkens back to the first few Dresden file books with Harry spending most of his time in good ol' PI mode with just enough Supernatural Shenanigans to remind you he's also a Wizard. Old and new enemies and friends make this an excellent listen

This is a very captivating look into the research and development that pioneered our modern computer world. The story of Dr. Buck shows quite a bit about how our modern world was created and shows that Dr. Buck is criminally understated in computer history

Reviewed: 02-27-21
I read this book back in the late 80s and have reread it multiple times. This is comic book superheroes in a real world with all the flaws and triumphs that includes. This series isn't for everyone however as there is definitely strong language, graphic violence and graphic sexual situations. If Game of Thrones is the Adult Lord of the Rings then Wild Cards is Adult MCU
