About this listen

Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal.

When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

Jim butcher does it all....like a champ

if you have this book or are considering it, then you already knew or heard, this man is the best there is. even though it was short, it was worth every penny. now I have to suffer and wait for the next book. jim...if you see this, you and James should perform one together man. we'll done sir. see you during "12 months"...just don't make me wait that long if possible. lol

Awesome!

This was a terrific addition to The Dresden Files!! I enjoyed getting a look at Chicago after the Titan. This was a fun book that had me laughing out loud! Even though I missed James Marsters, I loved hearing Jim Butcher read the book! He did a great job.

a much needed transition story

I never thought the author reading the story would sound like the narrator from The Sandlot. amazing story, and nice transition from the events of the previous book and setting up what Dresden hopes to be the series moving forward.

Great romp in the Dresden Files

Loved hearing Jim perform this short one. Love out regular narrator will be back for the next novel. It is fun for the change up.

This was a fun story. Having a situation he couldn't blast his way out of, gave us look at the detective side if Dresden.

This story also sets up compkications for future books.

But we see Harry, once again, gains valuable allies. Plus, not everyone has forgotten what it cost him to save Chicago.

Enjoy

Much needed

This is a lighter story on the heals of the last book.

Butcher's prefromance is acceptional and entertaining. It is interesting to hear the voices as he hears them in his own head reflected here.
I found Bob particularly surprising. Very different from Marston.

Tentacles

That was very enjoyable. A nice filler into what life is like post-titan.

Jim did a great job. And the outtakes at the end are hilarious. "tentacles"

tentacles... tentacles... tentacles tentacles tentacles tentacles... tentacles
