we can only course correct once we start accepting the facts. even as an audiobook this presents the data in such an accessible way. it is not all doom and gloom either. It’s just data.

this book has the most patient and logical progression exercises I’ve heard lately. I think couples gay or straight would resonate with the patients and attention that the author asks you to notice. It has a really nice balance of practicality and teaching

What did you love best about Traction?

I turn to this book over and over when I'm frustrated and need new ideas for my business. This book reminds me of how to know when to give up on a plan before I get too deep, and adapt to a new way to get traffic and leads. Then they give an overview of how to implement their suggestions, which you can move on to other books. No more "you should put yourself out there!!". What's that even mean? These guys give solid ideas.

Where does The Gene Therapy Plan rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The research in this book is beautifully laid out. Some academic critics complain that his recommendations are not current enough, or that he's missed important pieces. As someone also teaching in the healthcare world, if someone reading this book implemented 1/1000'th of his suggestions, they would live longer. If your take away from this book is to stop eating chips and processed carbs (like cereal), you're well on your way to living longer. If you avoid peanuts moving forward, you're doing great also.

What did you like best about this story?

To those who complain about his long supplement lists, I love how the audible version stresses that you should pick one supplement to start with and see how it feels. Then you'd slowly add more only if you feel like it. He specifically says not to buy everything. He is giving you ideas and choices.

My take aways are to use more extra virgin olive oil, take green coffee extract and CLA, and eat more broccoli. These are three of the 500 possible suggestions that he has in this book, and I'll probably live longer for it.

Any additional comments?

Finally, I wish that the author rests in peace. For those who do not know, he recently committed suicide. We all harbor demons; this is human. We should recognize the contribution he made while on this planet.

This book made me a better person.

Very easy listen. The idea gets a little bit redundant, but his examples of all the companies that have thought outside of the box, and many of those who have never bothered, are unsurpassed. This made me think hard about what we do as business, but I don't really have any ideas yet about how to be remarkable. But this is an inspirational start.

Some good lessons and reminders. Nothing I would really turn to over and over again. The narration is good and engaging.
