Coming from someone who specifically only listens to science fiction and fantasy books and gets bore quickly with books that involve real world things. This book had me hooked. It took telling a story and the things that they did wrong or didn’t understand and made lessons out of them. I would recommend this book to anyone in any kind of leadership role or anyone that has aspirations to get into a leadership role. Hell I would say I would recommend this book to anyone that has a boss. Leading up and down the chain of command might be the greatest thing I have ever thought about in my entire life. Thanks to the authors!

Best possible scenario for a zombie apocalypse. I want a fully stocked fallout shelter. A good read with great narration.

Angus Bjornson only ever wanted to do one thing: to continue crafting exquisite weapons and pieces of armor for his loyal customers. Unfortunately, after one accident too many that leaves the old blacksmith completely disabled, it would seem he has no other choice but to hang up his hammer. However, that would be underestimating the stubbornness of the self-made man.

I honestly didn’t think I would like it as much as I did but the narrator and author did a great job. I love how they brought science into smithing.

The world had less than seven hours to prepare. When it hit, the coronal mass ejection from the sun rolled back hundreds of years of technological innovation. Airplanes fell from the skies. Power grids crashed. Even electrical cabling was turned to slag. No Internet. No cable TV. No electricity. No modern day conveniences of any kind, from fancy European sedans to smart phones to clean, running water.
