Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

Story
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

Couldn’t stop listening

Loved this story so much. I looked forward to my commute to work for once so I could keep listening! I just couldn’t stand the narrators voice for Savy. I thought they made her sound like an old lady which bothered me.

Story
Piper Bellinger is fashionable, influential, and her reputation as a wild child means the paparazzi are constantly on her heels. When too much champagne and an out-of-control rooftop party lands Piper in the slammer, her stepfather decides enough is enough. So he cuts her off, and sends Piper and her sister to learn some responsibility running their late father's dive bar... in Washington. Piper hasn't even been in Westport for five minutes when she meets big, bearded sea captain Brendan, who thinks she won't last a week outside of Beverly Hills. How bad could it really be?

Not for me
Reviewed: 12-21-23
I didn’t understand the connection between the main characters. Pretty sure they were just attracted physically to each other. I enjoy some sex talk/narration but this was over the top and just made me laugh. It felt out of place. Also I felt bad for piper she was clearly insecure and Brenden seemed like a controlling, angry a hole to me! Red flags!!

Story
Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.

So good!!! Must listen!
Reviewed: 02-04-22
Wow was this book great! I never write reviews but felt compelled to for this book. I don’t know anything about science and couldn’t really follow all the science talk but that didn’t matter or impact me enjoying the book. The main character would summarize in plain language to get the point across. The storyline itself was very entertaining, heartfelt and really funny! I found myself laughing out loud a lot when listening. A must listen!
