Story
Two books together in one bundle: Real Good Man and Real Good Love. Banner Regent is smart, funny, and she’s so far out of my league, she might as well be royalty. I’m a mechanic from Kentucky. She’s a New York City party girl. We were never supposed to meet, but one text started something neither of us saw coming.

Shaw Landon loved Rule Archer from the moment she laid eyes on him. Rule is everything a straight-A pre-med student like Shaw shouldn't want - and the only person she's never tried to please. She isn't afraid of his scary piercings and tattoos or his wild attitude. Though she knows that Rule is wrong for her, her heart just won't listen.

Having the two-narrator viewpoints was great - each of them embodied the characters with so mush life and passion. Good plot line twists, although I saw 2 of them coming from a ways off. But anticipation pays off in the end. Listen and enjoy!

Story
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Seriously action-packed with a pragmatic streak. Narrator is truly awesome - voices and accents bring out the characters beautifully. Had to get the next two after hearing the first hour of #1. I will definitely re-listen to these!

Story
People start dropping dead around Charlie, giant ravens perch on his building, and it seems that everywhere he goes, a dark presence whispers to him from under the streets. Strange names start appearing on his nightstand notepad, and before he knows it, those people end up dead, too. Yup, it seems that Charlie Asher has been recruited for a new job, an unpleasant but utterly necessary one: Death.

Laugh out LOUD funny
Reviewed: 10-21-11
I'm not typically a serial repeater, but I've listened to this book at least 3 times now. The characters all tickle my funny bone, with highly quotable quirks. A trip from CA to OR passed in a flash (okay, a 12-hour flash) thanks to the author and narrator. I laughed "like bear!"
