A ton of unnecessary words to 🌥 whatever the book was about. I find that typical of both sociology and psychobablits, no real point so they blab on with the hope of confusion.

This book is a sweeping transatlantic history of Puritanism from its emergence out of the religious tumult of Elizabethan England to its founding role in the story of America. Shedding critical new light on the diverse forms of Puritan belief and practice in England, Scotland, and New England, David Hall provides a multifaceted account of a cultural movement that judged the Protestant reforms of Elizabeth's reign to be unfinished.

Story
Former Confederate President Jefferson Davis penned "The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government" in 1881, offering a historical perspective and justification for the Confederacy's formation and actions during the Civil War. While serving as a valuable primary source for understanding Confederate leadership's motivations, the work is also recognized for its biased defense of the Confederacy and its "Lost Cause" narrative.

It's reads more like a legal brief: President Davis obviously was a very well educated man, he gives a legal argument for the leaving of the South from the Union. There are many historical facts listed. Not having a legal background it was hard for me to follow.

Kennedy - why the brothers needed to die and how rogue intelligence agents orchestrated history’s most infamous conspiracy. Alot of this makes sense 🤔 except, the logistics don't add up.I really don't see the CIA going through all the trouble to create a patsy and then the actual killers tell everyone they did it on the way out of the hotel. I did air force logistics, it took a lot of logistics to pull this off, and JFK, apparently went to Dallas in a reactionary function to pull the party together show did they know the 3 months in advance to put Oswalt there. there may be answers but this book , for me, creates questions.

Af our-year-old chestnut-colored Mongolian racehorse with a white blaze down her face and three white stockings, she once amazed the crowds in Seoul with her remarkable speed. But the star racer was soon sold to an American marine and trained to carry heavy loads of artillery shells up and down steep hills under a barrage of bullets and bombs. The marines renamed her Reckless. Reckless soon proved fearless under fire, boldly trekking alone through the fiery gauntlet, exposed to explosions and shrapnel.
