Eine wunderbare Geschichte. Wie die Schifffahrt in Hamburg für Frauen ist. Als Reeders Tochter von Hamburg ist es so erfrischend zu sehen, dass es nicht nur mir so ging. Töchter wurden immer übergangen und nicht als Geschäftstüchtig gesehen. Ob die Palmaille, die Elbvororte oder die Lebensweise, es brachte so viele Erinnerungen zurück. Ganz wunderbar.
Es ist super zu lesen und man fühlt sich als Teil der Johansen Familie.

Thank you so much for pointing out this remarkable fact. It is sad that it is so forgotten by historians. It is a great easy read. Although the WW1 was so horrible the author puts together a great plot to point out family roots, traditions, injustice, and much more. Great job!
