Story
Long before their blockbuster podcast, I’ve Had It, Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan were simply two best friends, supporting each other through the ups and downs of life. Together they’ve celebrated family milestones and cheered on professional successes, but they’ve weathered the storms together too. When Jennifer’s husband battled alcoholism and drug addiction, she turned to Angie for support. When Angie’s own marriage began to crumble, she turned to Jennifer. And crucially, through it all they’ve kept one another laughing in stitches.

I just traveled halfway across the galaxy to meet my new husband. With no women left on Auxem, he should know how to appreciate a lady. Especially me, a lady from Earth! He knows how lucky he has to have me. He knows how far I've come. So why is he acting like such a complete jerk? I know he's used to getting what he wants, but underneath his confident, chiseled exterior, he's hiding a big secret. He barely speaks to me. Now we're stranded together on a remote planet. He's got a perfect body. I hope he knows how to use it.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
The story was was well written, however it is more than one book, which was not included in the narrative description. I was looking for a long book for a trip. It did the job, but I was not what I was looking for.
Have you listened to any of Kelly Morgan and Paul Brion ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The thing he hadn't expected was how hard it would be to hide who and what he was from her. Each step he took out of the shadows revealed more of himself until only one secret remained. Story
In lower Manhattan, a charnel pit of horror is uncovered: the remains of 36 people murdered and gruesomely dismembered over 130 years ago by an unknown serial killer. Just as a museum archaeologist and an enigmatic FBI agent begin to unravel the clues to the killings, a fresh spree of copy-cat murders and surgical mutilation erupts around them. Mixing science and terror in a way only they can, Preston and Child deliver a novel that's as gruesome as it is enthralling.

I have just come across this series and I have become an instant fan. Years ago I did see the movie "Relic" and I had no idea that it was based on books by Douglas Presong and Lincoln Child. The book is well written and the characters are easy to follow. Rene Auberjonois's voice will keep you captivated until the last chapter. It is a must listen, however I wish it was the unabridged version. I can't wait to download the next book in the series.
