Story
The box has been in Panea's family for generations. Like the women before her, she has no idea what's inside, just that she has sworn to protect it. When the box is accidentally destroyed in a fire, Panea learns the truth behind her oath and like the hope from Pandora's box, Panea's box gives her something of its own.

Story
Convinced they are the victims of a sick, practical joke, Heidi and her three friends are resigned to spending the night at The Scarry Inn, even though the atmosphere is anything but welcoming. Surely the owners, Dick and Thelma Scarry, are simply trying to drum up business for their new motel by terrifying the guests. But when Kara is found brutally murdered, they realize the danger is real, and they must find their way to safety before the secrets of the inn claim another victim.

I was anticipating a story with some frightening moments and there were. However, the story was drawn out. Then in the last couple of chapters, it was summed up with the abrupt finish. I did like the characters and I would listen to another book with them in it.

Story
In Dad is Fat, stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, who’s best known for his legendary riffs on Hot Pockets, bacon, manatees, and McDonald's, expresses all the joys and horrors of life with five young children - everything from cousins ("celebrities for little kids") to toddlers’ communication skills ("they always sound like they have traveled by horseback for hours to deliver important news"), to the eating habits of four-year-olds ("there is no difference between a four-year-old eating a taco and throwing a taco on the floor").

Story
An older man crushed by his long-time sweet-pea, a younger woman who stays in trouble...the crazy MC of Montana! I'm Butch and I'm Kitty's play uncle. I work at her father Mac's motorcycle shop. When she ran away from home, the young girl came looking for me. She shows up to the clubhouse begging for my help. Of course, I’m going to help her - I would never turn away a woman. But with her, she wants more than a stay at my place. I don't know. Her father is a crazy muthaf--ker especially when he drinks. I've known him for a long time.

Story
My name is Jazz, and I’m a reaper. That sounds dark, but it’s not so bad. I’m a justice reaper, which means I send bad guys away for a very long time. This also means that when the police need help to catch bad guys, I sometimes have no choice but to step in and do my part. Just after my best friend joins a coven, someone decides to start murdering witches, and it sure looks like the killer might actually be a vampire.

I enjoyed this listen and will definitely continue with additional selections of the Undertaker Mysteries. The narration was good due to numerous characters to voice and appreciate the skill it takes to do it properly. I wish the story did not wrap up in just a few paragraphs although, it was a short, intriguing and different type of mystery. Can not wait to start at the beginning of the series.

There are a lot of books on money-saving out there - books that promise to give you a lot of ideas on how to save money, if you’ll sit back and listen to six, eight, or even 10 hours of an author rambling to give you just a few tips. This is not one of those books. I would prefer you just listen to me for an hour and spend all those other hours putting these tips to use like I have: to turn my financial life around.

This collection of two short stories and assorted short pieces were published previously, and gathered here for the first time. "The Perils of Effrijim" is loaded with quirky characters, a fast-paced story, and an adorable demon who just wants to be with his beloved. In "Cat Got Your Tongue", Joy Randall thought her honeymoon with husband Raphael was going to fulfill all her expectations, but almost immediately they run into a decades-old curse, a spurned ghostly first wife, and a long-dead randy Scottish Laird.

Good Story but miss Barbara Rosenblat's narration.
Reviewed: 08-07-18
Jim is the always the best in Aisling Gray stories, however, this one is super short and hilarious. It leaves the reader wanting more of the demon newfie. The narration was okay but Barbara Rosenblat was fantastic in previous books, and wish she narrated this one.
I also enjoyed the story "Cat Got Your Tongue," a novella from a Dark Ones story that indeed was fun to listen to concerning the honeymoon of Joy and Raphael. Katie, keep the stories coming.

What did you love best about The Accidental Demon Slayer?
The story sounded fun. Tavia Gilbert brings each character to life in this production. I loved the funny attitudes of the Red Skulls and of course, Grandma Gertie.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Pirate. But I am biased. I have a jack russell terrier too. Boy, I wished I could understand her like Lizzie does with Pirate.
What about Tavia Gilbert’s performance did you like?
Tavia Gilbert is truly one of the best voice actors I have ever heard.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Biker Witch Grandma shows granddaughter the way of demon slaying by just saying "do it."

Revelation, because she is the protagonist and she is a strong loving person. I like the growth she has made in one story.
