Story
The supercilious cow who just hired me for my dream job didn't do so because of my impeccable filing or my ability to type 80 words per minute. She did so because she took one look at my plus-size body and assumed my smoking hot billionaire bosses wouldn't look twice at me. I assumed the same. But when I meet the big alphas running Dacian Enterprises, we're all in for a shock. Their eyes turn silver the moment they take me in, looking for all the world like the big bad wolves that want to eat me up. One of them already has—a Howlr hookup that I ghosted after the hottest night of my life.

Enjoyable read

One of my top fav omegaverse books. This omegaverse was a fun read. It was long ! I felt like it probably could have been a series of two or three books but I throughly enjoyed it. I loved that the FMC was plus size and wish more romance authors would make the FMC's body types differ from that of what societies ideal of a perfect female body is. Having less than perfect body weight makes this character so much more relatable with the struggles she goes through. The overall storyline was her dealing with her struggles of who she was while finding a connection with the alphas while she did it. I liked the alphas most of the time lol. They were overbearing and possessive alphas that made tons of mistakes some of which the FMC forgave them way too quickly for. All the MMC's were all brothers so thankfully no MM in this book allowing the love story and spice to focus on the FMC with her alphas. The spice was definitely a 4 out of 5 in this book and the dirty talk was a 5 out of 5 making it just that much better. The narration was a duet which was fantastic I loved both these narrators they killed it. My only critique of the book was the end. The pack spice scene at the end felt rushed through. All that build up throughout the book got you exciting for the group scene but it fell so flat! I was also hoping for more scenes of maybe 2 or 3 alphas with their omega before the final scene. Final spice scene was short and sweet in comparison to the rest of the book. I also felt the epilogue ended the book abruptly and although you get your HEA it was almost like the author got tired and ran out of juice to finish wrapping up the characters storyline and was rushed. Although I have strong opinions about the ending, given that it was a long fun read with tons of spice I can defintetly forgive the final few chapters and the ending and still say that I loved this book!

I'm not all that special, really. I'm sure there are a lot of girls with old gypsy blood who see the dead, have killer cults hunting their family, and turn into something that gets scary when they panic. Yep. I'm just an ordinary girl. I wish people would believe that. I've been labeled as one thing or another for most of my life: Death Girl. Crazy Gypsy Girl. Gothic Chick. Monster. It took my mother's death for me to finally start getting answers about what's really been going on. Unfortunately, most of the answers come from men...who aren't just men.

Great Story

This series has been really fun to read. So far I am on book 3. I love the FMC character she is witty, funny, strong and vulnerable making her super likable. The MMC's are not as likable in the beginning but as I read and hear more of their backstory they grow on you. The plot moves at a good pace and there are lots of layers to what is going on that unfold in each book making it exciting. I think the author is creative and this world/story is a good example of her writing. I thought the narrators both did a great job; wished it was a duet which I think would have made it even better.
One thing I didn't like is that this author doesnt write spice very well. Not too much spice in these books but I am only on book 3. The spice scenes that are in the books are so vague and lack any detail, description, even mention of body parts leads me to think the author isn't really comfortable writing spice and this really isn't her wheel house. It does make the book fall short for me for that reason. For example even when the FMC see's one of the MMC's (shifter) naked for the first time she has absolutely no reaction or mention of seeing him or his body parts (which is super weird). The lack of description overall makes the flame fizzle even though the connection between the characters leading up to the spice is there. Also so far it's just straight to sex with each MMC literally no four play which also makes all these scenes fall flat. I've read the Four Psychos and I felt the same way. I just dont think author knows how to write spice compared to authors like Tate James, Jane Washington, Eva Ashwood, Sadie Kincaid, or Caroline Peckham. If you like any of those authors then these books will fall super short spice-wise.

An escape from my parents who insist I follow in their footsteps as a Guardian of the Society. Keep the members safe—that's what I'm supposed to do. But how can I safeguard the students when I can't even protect myself? Someone has been watching me. His eyes burn into my soul like a branding iron. At night, he haunts my dreams and transforms them into nightmares. Sometimes when I wake, he's there, standing at the foot of my bed in awe of my existence. He isn't the one I fear most, though

Loved it! Great story. Had fun jumping into this dark world with these morally gray MMC's and a strong FMC. Perfect why choose with plenty of spice. I like how the story unfolded with the MMC's trying to learn to come to terms with sharing and navigating the relationship with each other and the FMC. No MM in this and no pregnancies. Narrators did great but wish it had been a duet!

Story
In therapy, they tell you to use your senses. List the things you know: Sermons recited with malice. A blood-soaked ritual. The sting of tears and gasping sobs of the dying. Rotting flesh. I grew up in a cage, tortured by the Lord Almighty's most twisted servant. Death and despair became my close companions as I watched years of slaughter at Pastor Michaels’ hand. Eighteen girls. Dead. Eighteen lives. Ended. Eighteen futures. Stolen.

Great story that moves a good pace. There was one big plot and lots of smaller mysteries that get resolved and move on to the next which keep the book interesting. Fair warning theres lots of trauma and abuse in this book (not by MMC's) which got hard to read about at times but the storyline was worth it. It was a slow burn for sure so dont expect much in book 1 but definitely get your fill of spice in books 2 & 3. I thought spice was pretty high but I know that is relative. No MM in this harem. Narrators are British and I usually have a hard time with the choices British narrators make in regard to speed, volume, and the acting but they did a wonderful job.

My name is Dawn Rose. I was the food-scavenger for my group of outcasts in the Fringe - what used to be LA County before the Abnorms and supernaturals turned it into a hellscape. But I never expected to witness a brutal murder-by-magic. Now I've been whisked off to Briarwitch Academy, the place where magic goes to grow. The faculty think I have an ancient untapped power. Yeah, right. Like I'm going to fit in with drunken gnomes and goth pixies.

I really wanted to listen to this series but I could not suffer through the narration. I tried but after several chapters I had to stop female narrators tone was not only annoying but story wasn't depicted accurately based on what characters were saying and how she was narrating it. It frustrated so I quiet.

Omg I love this story! The book has a really great plot and storyline that moves at a great pace. Out of so many of these reverse harem books I've read I found this series one of the most fun and exciting to read. Fair warning it is a slow burn which was a bit hard to sit through for so long with all the tension. Not much going on until book 3 but the spice was well worth the wait! I find that with most academy/NA series the spice usually falls flat but this author did not disappoint! There is no MM and plenty more spice in book 4 and 5. Book 6 is not yet out on audible so I was disappointed getting to the end of book 5 to realize it wasn't the end of the series and that book 6 is coming out soon. I really hope author decides to add an audio version soon especially before I forget the storyline. While I would have loved if this book had a duet with a male narrator, I thought the FMN did a great job all on her own.

Story
The Ironside Show is back. Bigger than ever, and shinier, too. To the audience, it’s a glorious spectacle, but to Isobel Carter and the Alphas of Dorm A, it’s a trap. A maze. The further they venture, the darker their path becomes, until all the tarnish has flaked away and only the bare metal bars remain.

The academy that once promised Isobel Carter salvation has pulled back the curtain and revealed itself for what it truly is. A pretty little prison. She may have been reduced to a puppet behind a screen, but at least the Alphas of Dorm A are there to heighten her performances, quicken her breath, and flood her face with colour for the cameras.

Isobel Carter is making headlines. Some of them good, some of them bad, and some of them … astounding. She started at the bottom and now she’s near the top with everything she never wanted, but the Ironside Show doesn’t care, because she’s just become one of the most interesting students at the academy, and everyone seems to have big plans for her.

Ironside is more than a regular academy. It’s also the biggest reality TV show in the world … and a very elaborate, very luxurious prison. Their hallowed halls are ruled by the Betas, Omegas, and Deltas—but this year, the officials are stirring things up. Isobel Carter—the only rare Sigma to be accepted—is the first sign. But there are others. Many others. A sudden influx of powerful Alphas will turn academy life, and Isobel’s life, upside down.
