Story
On the first day, no one really noticed. All those babies wrapped in blue blankets - not a pink one in sight. On the third day, people were scared - a statistic-defying abundance of blue. Not just entire hospitals, not only entire countries, but the entire world. Boys. Only boys. Until Eve. The only girl born in 50 years. The savior of mankind. Kept protected, towering above a ruined world under a glass dome of safety until she is ready to renew the human race. But when the time comes to find a suitor...Eve doesn't only want safety and protection. She wants freedom.

Fascinating

Very entertaining. It had me drawn in from the very first chapter. I completed it in less than 2 days because I couldn't stop listening. I wish they had book 2 on here, but I guess I'll have to find it elsewhere; because I can't wait to see what happens next! If you like the Hunger Games, then you'll definitely like this as well.

Questions Answered, but Depressing and Tragic
Reviewed: 12-08-20
I'm the type of person that enjoys a happy ending, which is one of the reasons that I enjoyed the Tiger's Curse series. The first four books have some drama and a bit of heartache but aren't quite so depressing. The fifth book is definitely much darker than the first four. I did enjoy the majority of this book, despite its darker tones, since it solves a lot of the mysteries of the first 4 books, but the ending was absolutely tragic and depressing. I feel that Kishan deserved a much better ending than he received, So much so that I almost wish it had ended with book 4 since at least then we were left with the notion that all our characters ended up happy. I'm really disappointed with how Colleen chose to end this and though its been days since I finished it, my heart still feels heavy and sad when I think about it. Definitely prepare yourself to shed some tears.
