Go from Alpha to Omni
Reviewed: 09-21-23
This book is about several very key aspects of business that are integral to construction. Most construction leaders are not alpha in all of these aspects and this book helps identify, strategize, document and implement. To be sure reading this won't make you a heavy hitter but it may help you be one some day

Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Mr McConaughey tells a story that touches a part of my life that I've always had to figure out for myself. Introspection. The wisdom, the experience, the understanding that the point isn't to obtain more, etc. All the things I wished my parents would have taught me, shown me & revealed to me. Great read

The idea of building what customers want rather than what your team want to build for your customers sounds obvious but many get them switch around. Great info, process, and perspective. Thank you Eric
