Our church just took an offering to help the starving Korean believers... this book is a must- read if you really care for the persecuted churches... this book is a journey... you wonder where it’s taking you... then, what an experience!

I love the Theodore Boone series and the issues Grisham brings to light for kids... and adults! I’ve listened since book one came out and used it as part of our homeschool curriculum with my youngest. Since she is all grown up now and on her way to becoming a middle school teacher , we listened to this one separately:) Grateful for children’s books that entertain while provoking thinking and discussion. I appreciate the positive influence portrayed by school teachers and other role models in this series - Mother of 7 and Grandma of 9

Although I thought her first book entertaining and would highly recommend, I didn’t finish this one. I started hearing about Trump and couldn’t go on. Those who justify all he does annoys me but also hearing about his faults is annoying and not fun. I don’t know how much it continued because I returned the book. Alyssa is a great writer and narrator!!! This book just wasn’t for me! -Aleta

Didn’t oversimplifying issues.
Didn’t villainize people who don’t agree.
Didn’t just preach.
Mercy, grace, and truth are all woven together.
Valid issues and points are in each book.
I love hearing these issues discussed in fiction.
Thought I should add after I saw that it says “reviewed by Thomas”...

Wondering why the next book isn't offered. Audible said at the end of this one that the story continues in the next book.

I love how Rosaria painted a picture of her LGBT life as of a caring committed community. I love her story of realizing the truth of the gospel and how that changed her. Rosaria shows a deep love for Jesus, her husband, churches, the unsaved, her children, and foster children.

I have homeschooled for almost 30 years. I listened as I drove many hours with my youngest of 7 (15 years old:) We enjoyed the story and discussed issues Rosaria raised. I would highly recommend listening with your teenager. I loved how my daughter was touched by Rosaria's work with foster children.

I think one thing to remember is that Rosaria says she wrote this for her children and small Presbyterian Reformed Denomination. She never dreamed of its success. You will find many explanations and defenses of PR doctrines and practices, since she had to defend why she remained in that denomination. I enjoyed hearing what she had to say on the matter. I love diversity in Jesus and gained a better understanding of PR.

Love David Suchet's reading! Of course, love the story:) There is a problem with how this is labeled. It is only the OT, but I thought that may be the case from other comments. Also, the comment about finding your place... Yes! Would have been easier to navigate if divided into individual books, but each chapter is a chapter. I like that. I am bookmarking and making notes to myself as I go, so I will know where the different books begin. Too happy to get this to complain! It used to only be available in UK! Thanks, Audible for making this available to US:)
