I found this book's message against violence convincing. Zahnd opens up many biblical passages in new ways I've never considered before. For all this, the book deserves 5 stars. I only wish he took the time to address common objections to a nonviolent vision. How should Christians have responded to Hitler and WWII? How can a nation begin implementing peacemaking policies? What should the common Christian do about this today? Still, if you like me wonder where war fits in a Jesus-shaped life, this book will be eye-opening.
