Surprisingly compelling!

Get it. Compelling, tight, little caper, coming of age, hacking story, where the characters gain a depth that drives the story without distracting from "what next?" I grabbed this on a lark, mainly based on short length, Christian Slater, and the subject of phone hacking, with the thought that I could just set it aside without much investment. Although relatively short, I am really impressed with how well the characters developed without distracting from a really tight progression of the story. The author did an outstanding job of setting the stage for a great performances. I will definitely being getting more from this author and cast.

You won’t find a dry recounting of dates and battles here, but instead you’ll learn about who these people were and how their desires, fears, and flaws shaped the scope of this island at the edge of the world. And some of those desires are downright scandalous.
