This is one of the best epic trilogies I've read recently & this last volume is outstanding. I really enjoyed this book- even more than the first two in the series. Luke Daniels & Xe Sands do an incredible job with the audiobook.

The pacing in this final book is perfect. We've been introduced to many characters & cultures - there is a lot that has to be accomplished & wrapped up - it's a long ending- but its done right. It's not rushed. We get the full tale.

This series has a wonderful combination of fantasy, myth, strategy, politics, military, magic, journey, animal companion, cheese, mustard and character.

This is the story that I've wanted & have been waiting for since finishing Heir of Novron. This ties The Legends of the First Empire, Riyeria Revelations / Chronicles & The Rise & Fall all together - the strings ALL run through this one.

You need to read Spring's Arcana prior to attempting to read this one. This duology does feel like it's one book that's been split in half. You pick up the story right where you left off at the end of the first book.

This book is both beautiful & creepy. I enjoyed Nat's journey. Questions from the first book get cleared up along the way. This duology is one of the best books I've read this year.

The narrator, Barrie Kreinik, was great.

Jason Culp does an excellent narration. Typically, I enjoy detective / thrillers. This book is well written but I didn't enjoy the POV.

Incredible trilogy. Political intrigue, government malfeasance, secret organizations, military campaigns, rebellion & really cool weapons work.

Great character growth over the trilogy.
Dyeawan was my favorite & Staz was a lot of fun.

I am going to miss Crache.

This is only the first half of the tale. I loved the deities that appear along the way. The story is a slow burn but well worth it. Everything is earned. Looking forward to book 2

Narrator is wonderful.

Disappointed. Loved getting Daniel's origin story. Didn't like the audio production. The regular books have a narrator not a full cast. The sound effects (annoying/distracting) & lack of narrative descriptions made the story hard to follow at times.

Good fantasy romance 3 book omnibus. Enjoyed it. Some of the resolutions don't entirely feel earned but it's a fun read & based on where book 3 left off- I'm expecting the next book in the series to have some nice revelations. Caitlin Davies is an excellent narrator.

Good short story that is a prequel/ introduction to the Fallen Empire series. Left me wanting to read more but also with a lot of questions.

Kate Reading is outstanding as the narrator.
