The historical context provided confirms what we all know is true, that humans are falable and biased by the societies we live in. this book beautifully guides us through centuries of societal biases that have shaped and twisted the concept of what it means to be a good Christian woman into what we have today.

I loved the characters growth as they battled their own life trauma. It's an endearing story about found family and building trust when your past has let you down.

I enjoyed a different take on werewolves that focused on a more primal side.

While I enjoyed the storyline and characters, I found the authors use of "all" this or "all kinds of" that so repetitive that it became grating. I desperately wanted to grab a red pen and mark up the manuscript.

I was on the edge of my seat and so emotionally invested. The characters are all so well developed and the story so unexpected.

Love the writing and a unique intro to the werewolf world. The narrator speaks a little too quickly to follow during the high tension but I slowed the speed to 0.8 and that helped.

Liked a different approach to romance and that the strong female lead doesn't allow herself to be rescued. Great narrators.

I really wanted to give this a chance because it was an interesting concept. However, both the policing and the bridge between hated criminal and sex in the maze were not believable.

The female narrator was distracting with constant loud intakes of breath in every sentence.

Narrators do a great job. It's a nice escape into an uncertain romance. I wish the sex scenes were a little more classy, the word choices made me uncomfortable and no one talks like that.
