For as long as I can remember I was raised to believe home is where the heart is. It's not the four walls and ceiling you pay for every month. It is the people you surround yourself with and it's the partner you give your whole heart to hoping they won't break it.
I'm sure spending any amount of time with your ex in a cabin because of a snow storm is difficult enough but the rekindling and reconnecting only to make you wonder why you ever broke up is probably the most difficult feeling in the world.

I reread this book every year during this season. It makes you really think about all that is most important to you. Never let go of your dreams but remember who stood by you through it all.
Most of all, remember the ones who let you go so you could fly yet kept the fire burning (knowingly or not) for you to return someday.

Kandi...
I knew reading these books that they were am amazingly written series about the Greek family life at a university. I knew these characters were my favorites. Some I loved. Some I loved to hate. Most I wanted to be friends with!
You shook things up giving me my favorite university on audible!!!
Bear was always my favorite leading man and hearing his voice made it all the more real.
Hearing the pain, joy and even elationation in the narrator's voices made this a series I will forever be telling people to LISTEN to instead of read (which I never thought I'd say)

In book 2, there are triggers so be warned, but I will say this....as a survivor....it is written in a way I didn't quite feel alone. The tears will come. Good and bad.
Bear shows his strength and his struggle.
Ashlei is at a crossroads.
Cassie has decisions to make.
Adam becomes more of a regular in the PSU show.
Erin shows just how resilient she is.
Jess shows a very dark side of her.
I could go on and on.
If you haven't read this book, go do it. If you haven't listened to this book, go do it.
You won't be sorry.

Immersive.
I felt like I was a part of the whole Palm South University crowd.
I met all my sisters at KKB and all the hot guys that come with the Greek family life.

You start to connect to these characters enough to where there is no way you lose track as you hear from each of these individual people. Some you love and some you love to hate.
You find yourself in one maybe in a few characters.

The loss of old friends and gain of new friendships, family struggles, love lost and found.
It took me back to my college years.
This is my favorite series by Kandi! It needs to be made into a TV SHOW!

When I say his voice in my ear was like butter, it's not an exaggeration. I love the dual narration!

I have been WAITING for Holden's story since meeting him in the series.
We finally get to deep dive into his head.

Holden is the epitome of jock until he comes face to face with Julep and a terrible situation.
Julep is the coaches daughter and is off limits until she moves in across the street.
Now there is no hiding from each other.
The cat an mouse game became way more easy.
AND that first kiss was EVERYTHING.
Where can I find me a Holden?

The story was great. A little hard to follow at times but easy to get drawn in and hold your attention right there.
Fantastic choice in narrator. He brought this book to life in so many ways including voice changes. I felt each character in a way I don't normally feel them when a book is read by one person. The majestic and fantasy world that was created is incredibly written. I literally felt like I was transported from my car to a world you could never see with your eyes but drawn from your imagination.
