Bottom line. A proper vegan diet including whole food nutrition will help you to live a long and healthy life. Additionally, some/most ailments and diseases can be reversed or eradicated by adopting a plant based lifestyle.

I did not love this book. It drags on in parts and I felt the narrator did not need to do weird character voices . On a positive note, the description of the marsh , swamp and lagoons seems picturesque and the ending was somewhat interesting.

Full of generalizations and assumptions
Reviewed: 06-21-18
I would not recommend this book. It is full of generalizations and assumptions and the anecdotes are not relatable.
Some of the “rules” are useful but more common sense rather than anything else. Also, the authors voice sounded angry and it gave the book a negative feel to me. Overall: thumbs down.

Vulnerable Schmulnerable.
Reviewed: 02-28-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it helped me to see the vulnerable side of the very private, Amy Pohler.
What did you like best about this story?
This look into the author's life made me like her even more. The story, in her own words, of the path she took to make it in comedy/tv/movies/"the biz".
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
I like the fact that the (audio)book was in her own voice (figuratively and literally), and the brilliant use of "guest readers" for dramatic effect.
Any additional comments?
She put it all on the table with her own comedic touch. This book is the culmination of her experiences and lessons to date (good and bad). I believe it can best be summed up by the author herself...
"It's very hard to have ideas...to put yourself out there...to be vulnerable, but those people... are the dreamers, the thinkers and the creators. They are the magic people of the world." - Amy Pohler

I literally could not put it down. Listened to it non-stop from beginning to end. It is a sweet tale of an inconvenient and unexpected love
that develops despite the formalities of society. If you love Bronte and Austen novels, you will love this book. Additionally the narrator did a fantastic job capturing the tone and essence of each character. Well done.
