Story
This book covers bitcoin’s blocksize war, which was waged from August 2015 to November 2017. On the surface, the battle was about the amount of data allowed in each bitcoin block, however it exposed much deeper issues, such as who controls bitcoin’s protocol rules. It is not possible to cover every twist and turn in the labyrinthine conflict or all the arguments, but I have provided a chronology of the most significant events. This book explores some of the major characters in the conflict and includes coverage, from both the front lines and behind the scenes.

Was skeptical and thought it would be extremely boring, but it wasn’t. Gives an excellent overview of all the relevant material, and doesn’t get boring.

All these other reviews are lies.
90% of this book: talking about how great these processes are
10% of this book: arbitrarily explaining the processes
Is the narrator a robot? Worst narrator I have ever listened to.

The title lead me to believe the book would be arbitrary, low level boredom, but it was quite the opposite. Author is very intelligent, great structure to the chapters, good detail, and wonderful personal insight. 10/10

The brutal fact is that the number one reason for failure in sales is an empty pipe, and the root cause of an empty pipeline is the failure to consistently prospect.

Manages to be simple enough to understand if you’re not a salesperson, yet also goes into detail where appropriate, and offers good nuggets of information.
Structured well for when you want to relation to certain parts, or return to points made.
Unlike most salespeople, the author manages to mostly refrain from being over repetitive, wordy, and annoying. Would recommend!

A little repetitive at times, but golden nuggets in every chapter
Reviewed: 03-02-20
It starts off very slow and repetitive, but by chapter four there is extremely valuable information and perspective. Very anecdote heavy. Better books out there, but I’m very happy to have completed this one.
