What a shame that the story had to come to an end. I truly enjoyed listening the the amazing rendition of this fabulous story!! I was greatly saddened to read about the author’s premature death. I wish I could have read more of his stories!

I really enjoyed the writing, it was beautifully done. The sadness of the story was just incredible! I kept hoping for a good ending but alas, that didn’t happen. I shed many tears throughout, it’s hard to deal with that much cruelty. Great performance by Lori Gardner! I feel like I need to watch a comedy to recuperate now lol

I had read the book a while back, what an amazing story! The book is much longer than her other stories and it is filled to the brim with amazing personalities and twists and turns. The adventures are so well thought out. Add to that the fabulous performance by Manon, what a winner. It’s such an amazing difference to listen vs. reading the story. I tend to jump over words and sometimes sentences, so this was such a luxury. Enjoy a book while cooking or cleaning, gotta love it! Abby did it again, this new series is an absolute winner!!

You hear about these specialists creating the games the students have to participate in and you think about how elaborate and tricksy they are and then you realize that they all came from the author's imagination lol. It is surely amazing. Great story telling and great performance by Marni. I am glad Gage wasn't around much, he is a nice guy but kind of boring imho. Yay for another amazing story!!

Amazing writing and characters, the story flows so easily. I can’t wait to listen to the third installment. It always amazes me how old aqua dances are being introduced in the new stories, great suspense!!

How fun to be able to follow Saxony through her first semester at Arcturus with all the challenges and intrigues one encounters at school. Evil twin Ryan trying to undermine her at every turn and sweet twin Gage doubting her… Amazing challenges await her in the classroom, being privately tutored due to her “burnt” status. All the details of her new skills really amazed me. Marni does an amazing job. It’s more a performance rather than a reading, all the accents and different voices make this so enjoyable. It was so much fun to follow Saxony’s life while cleaning and making dinner :) Give it a try!!

I loved it all, can’t think of anything I didn’t like. I read the book before but what a difference to have talented Marni Penning read it to me with all the different voices. Just wonderful!! Amazing how many parts of the book I had forgotten! The story is amazing, well thought out (I don’t know where she comes up with these ideas), a great conclusion to the trilogy.

AL Knorr is such a talented writer. Her stories flow together, I love the characters and I am constantly amazed at how she weaves some older ones into her stories and how they wind up being connected in some way. This trilogy is an absolute delight, Targa’s and Mira’s stories absolutely flow together in this tale of a curse that has ruined the life of many Mers. Marni did a fabulous job telling or should I say acting out this awesome story!!

It’s amazing how many small details I missed when I read the book. Listening to Marni tell the story allowed me to slow down and get everything! She is amazing with her dialects, it’s more like listening to a play rather than just a story. It was a great pleasure and that the book is amazing goes without saying

I have read the book previously and I am so glad I got the chance to listen to this wonderful performance by Marni. She does the different characters so well and her voice is very pleasant. Abby’s writing is just amazing, I had actually forgotten parts of this story and enjoyed it even more the second time around. She weaves her stories together so perfectly. There is always a story within the story and characters from previous books appear again and fit in seamlessly. It was such a pleasure!
