Story
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Overall good story, but it could have been told in fewer chapters without losing anything.

I first read Tananarive Due’s My Soul to Keep over 20 years ago and still think it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. The Good House was just as riveting. I wish I had read it & not just listened in order to keep better track of dates. She is an amazing writer!

This will be my benchmark for short stories. The narration was excellent, the story-line interesting, sad, yet hopeful.

What’s in a name? A lot. The name Tinaca, for example, has been passed down in the Jones family for generations of women. In fact, the Joneses name a Tinaca every other generation, to let the name breathe a little. To let each Tinaca shine. And shine is exactly what Tinaca Jones intends to do.

My first experience with Audible
Reviewed: 02-16-21
This was my first audible book. Selected randomly because it said “audible original”, “included” and would make me laugh. Once I got pass the cursing & stereotyping of “sista” speech, the mission was accomplished: This book made me laugh out loud & was a good distraction and not too long!
