Hired by an old wizard, they must steal a treasure that no one can reach. The Crown Tower is the impregnable remains of the grandest fortress ever built and home to the realm’s most prized possessions. But it isn’t gold or jewels that the wizard is after, and if he can just keep them from killing each other, they just might succeed.

What made the experience of listening to The Dragon Reborn the most enjoyable?
This is the best of the series so far. I really like how the story weaves around and through the various character groups. Look forward to the next installment. Really glad I didn't start this series as they were being rolled out...

Any additional comments?
Great book! I think I'm hooked on the series. I read somewhere that Jordon was the heir to Tolkein; I'd have to agree. wandered a little but then The Hobbit was not a Home Run either. It wasn't until the Lord of the Rings that Tolkein hit it out of the park. The guy must have done something right with 14 books!

Story
Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Yes
Any additional comments?
This book/series has been on my list for a very long time...don't know why it took so long to get to it. I enjoyed this book even though I figured out parts of the "end of the game" long before the title character. However, it wasn't until the final couple of chapters that the whole story came together and parts that I thought were insignificant were actually monumentally important. Great read and one that can be shared and enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Story
A series of horrifying events occur in quick succession in the same upscale L.A. neighborhood. A backyard renovation unearths an infant's body, buried 60 years ago. And soon thereafter in a nearby park, another disturbingly bizarre discovery is made not far from the body of a young woman shot in the head. Helping LAPD homicide detective Milo Sturgis to link these eerie incidents is brilliant psychologist Alex Delaware. But even the good doctor's vast experience with matters both clinical and criminal might not be enough.
