Story
Aliens exist...and, as it turns out, most of them are fairly harmless. It's the humans you need to watch out for. Priya Radcliffe wasn't even born yet when the first set of terrorists struck. She was 17 when they struck again, but this time her parents paid the ultimate price. That was seven years ago, and since then, the United Nations finally agreed to field its first spaceborne military. Serving aboard one of the first true starships had been a dream of hers. All of her years of education and training had been geared for entering the service.

Less politics and more good sci-fi
Reviewed: 11-17-21
I was impressed with the first book, but the author's need to inject their politics into this book was disappointing.

Great story/Disappointing performance
Reviewed: 09-27-19
I read these books many years ago and loved them. It was good to re-visit them. However, I was disappointed with the performance. I was particularly disturbed by the poor pronunciations of even some common words, i.e. duchy pronounced like duckie when the proper pronunciation is would be closer to "duchee".

If you could sum up New Frontiers in three words, what would they be?
Keep them coming!
Any additional comments?
This my first exposure to this author and narrator. This book is very well written, and the performance was outstanding. I want more books from the author. The next book's audio needs to be released ASAP.

Narration needs improvement
Reviewed: 01-17-17
The narration sounded mechanical or synthetic. The story is outstanding and sets the opening for Foundation.
