Story
Mare Barrow's world is divided by blood - those with red and those with silver. Mare and her family are lowly Reds, destined to serve the Silver elite whose supernatural abilities make them nearly gods. Mare steals what she can to help her family survive, but when her best friend is conscripted into the army she gambles everything to win his freedom. A twist of fate leads her to the royal palace, where, in front of the king and all his nobles, she discovers a power of her own - an ability she didn't know she had.

Predictable, shocked this was so highly rated. I suppose its supposed to be a young adult novel but I thought that almost everything about this story and its characters were underdeveloped.

Story
From the larger, louder half of the world-famous magic duo Penn & Teller comes a scathingly funny reinterpretation of The Ten Commandments. They are The Penn Commandments, and they reveal one outrageous and opinionated atheist’s experience in the world.

Entertaining, quick listen

I loved this book, it went fast. The only criticism I have is that some of the sexual stories went on just a little bit too long, and that is not to say that they offended my sensibilities - they just got tedious. Overall great book and I am looking forward to Penn's new book "Presto"

Story
Cassie Wright, porn priestess, intends to cap her legendary career by breaking the world record for serial fornication. On camera. With 600 men. Snuff unfolds from the perspectives of Mr. 72, Mr. 137, and Mr. 600, who await their turn on camera in a very crowded green room. This wild, lethally funny, and thoroughly researched novel brings the huge yet underacknowledged presence of pornography in contemporary life into the realm of literary fiction at last. Who else but Chuck Palahniuk would dare do such a thing? Who else could do it so well, so unflinchingly, and with such an incendiary (you might say) climax?

Somewhat predictable, repetitive - not palahniuk's best work. I didnt hate it though, and it was a fast read.
