Story
In a work world that is increasingly competitive and insecure, people often have nagging questions: Why am I doing this work? Why is it so hard? And is there anything I can do about it? Tim Keller, pastor of New York's Redeemer Presbyterian Church and New York Times best-selling author of The Reason for God, has taught and counseled students, young professionals, and senior leaders on the subject of work and calling for more than 20 years.

Most Don't Realize.....
Reviewed: 08-30-17
Most people do not realize that one's work is actually a gift from God, and that specifically a Christian shows where s/he is at on their spiritual path (for good or bad) by how seriously they take their jobs. The author, Tim Keller, makes the reader aware of the importance of demonstrating diligence and excellence in our occupations as a way to worship God. I couldn't put the book down! I loved this book, very motivational!

Story
Christopher Yuan, the son of Chinese immigrants, discovered at an early age that he was different. He was attracted to other boys. As he grew into adulthood, his mother, Angela, hoped to control the situation. Instead she found that her son and her life were spiraling out of control - and her own personal demons were determined to defeat her. Years of heartbreak, confusion, and prayer followed before the Yuans found a place of complete surrender, which is God's desire for all families.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
By accident, I came upon this book. I am so glad; I have more understanding for individuals who struggle with same sex attraction. Christopher Yuan writes clearly and honestly about his journey to finding true love and purpose in Jesus Christ! Angela Yuan writes from a parent's perspective with sensitivity and love for her son. One of the best Christian autobiographical books I've read!! I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
