What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Giving Daniel more than a short story. WTF???? Lazy lazy lazy Alisa Woods. Seems like she was just trying to get this out of the way so she could move on. I was really looking forward to Daniel's story right back when I was reading the River Pack series and this was it? seriously?
Would you ever listen to anything by Alisa Woods again?
yes because I have enjoyed the others I have read. I just think she got lazy with this one. Almost like Daniel's book was an after thought like "Oh shit! I forgot to give Daniel his story. I will just whip something up, should only take me an hour or so".
How could the performance have been better?
get rid of Lydia Alexander. Get someone who knows how to 'narrate' a story, not just 'read' it. I can 'read' a story. it takes talent to be able to 'narrate' a story and Lydia Alexander doesn't have that talent
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Wild Magic?
Cut what? there wasn't enough story to cut!!!!

Story
Lacy Woods thought that there could be nothing worse than being stolen from Earth by an alien poacher, until she's thrust onto the auction block and sold as a slave on an alien planet. Standing on stage surrounded by the galaxy's nastiest criminals, she has little hope. Kor and Ty are a mated pair that have been searching throughout the galaxy for a species that can save their race from extinction. They never expected to come across a rare Earther female being auctioned as a slave.

Narrator better suited to Dr Seuss

Would you listen to Alien Savior again? Why?
No. Narrator ruined the story
How did the narrator detract from the book?
this narrator sounds like he is narrating a children's book. Sebastian York, Holter Graham, Fred Berman or Kaleo Griffith would have been a thousand time better to listen too.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
only to get it over with.
Any additional comments?
Does anyone even listen to these before they are released? or read reviews? If so why has this narrator done all three available books?

Story
Kelly Maloy opens her car door to much more than a great looking stranger at the Houston airport. Terror, desire, and a horrible truth climb in with him. She's only supposed to drive Ty Endeka around the city for a few weeks. Too bad no one tells her that once day fades she'll become part of a battle fought in the darkened streets with an enemy that isn't human. And the sensual man who feeds her fantasies hides a soul that gives new meaning to animal magnetism.

I could get hooked on this series BUT NARRATOR SUX

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the story, would have been much better with another narrator though. This one is dreadful. I had to keep rewinding to pick up who said what, there was no differentiation between characters at all, which made it hard to follow at times. She may as well have been reading a newspaper article...
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Carolee Goodgold?
Fred Berman or Holter Graham. Best narrators I have listened to ever. When they narrate you can tell the difference between every character and they can do females without making them sound vapid or whiny. Their voices are also sexy as hell.
Any additional comments?
even though I hated the narrator I am still looking forward to listening to the next book in the series and keeping my fingers crossed for a different narrator. I think the storyteller can make or break a book and this one very nearly breaks it.
