Good story- needs a better narrator

Good storyline and characters. In my opinion it would’ve been much better with a more versatile narrator or possibly more than one narrator to differentiate The characters. The narration was bland.

On paper, Chris Brennan looks perfect. He's applying for a job as a high school government teacher, he's ready to step in as an assistant baseball coach, and his references are impeccable. But everything about Chris Brennan is a lie. Susan Sematov is proud of her son Raz, a high school pitcher so athletically talented that he's being recruited for a full-ride scholarship to a Division I college, with a future in major-league baseball. But Raz’s father died only a few months ago, leaving her son in a vulnerable place where any new father figure might influence him for good, or evil.

Loved the book...until I got to the part about Fracking and Natural Gas Wells. It contains many mistruths that are spouted by people who do not live in an area affected by fracking. The culprits in the story are fictional and so is most of the information in the story in regards to the region and fracking. The truth is that most of the people who appear as "protesters" in photos represented as being from our area are bussed in from who knows where. In some areas locals have been able to set certain sources of water on fire for over 100 years- long before fracking began. I think Ben Franklin said it best when he said "believe none of what you read and half of what you see.".
Please come to our area and speak with the locals to get the story correct.

The Profiler's Daughter is a psychologically haunting thriller that combines murder mystery, love triangle, and family intrigue in one satisfying page burner.
