Story
For the first time in my life I felt that death was a possibility; a stupid, pointless, lonely death on the aptly named Mondulkiri Death Highway. The Ho Chi Minh Trail is one of the greatest feats of military engineering in history. But since the end of the Vietnam War much of this vast transport network has been reclaimed by jungle, while remaining sections are littered with a deadly legacy of unexploded bombs. For Antonia, the chance to explore the Trail before it was lost forever was a personal challenge she couldn’t ignore - yet at times it would be a terrifying journey.

Absolutely Awesome Book!! Stories, Experiences, Adventures and Narration were Steller!! His stories, his voice(quite literally) are so easy and pleasing to listen too. I myself am also new to crossbow (due to shoulder issues) and enjoyed listening to his lessons learned about the crossbow which is also helping me as well. His book has also led me to explore his website and YouTube channel Death by Bunjie, and is wealth of information and really like his music too, plus love to see him share those experiences with his daughter...warms my heart to see such.

She had picked up a freelance gig as a motorcycle journalist, she had met someone, and she still had a little bit of her dwindling life savings left in the bank.

I loved this one as much as Tiff's first book. Love her spirit and determination, it does inspire ya! She does a good job bridging not only the ride itself but also educating the reader/listener on all the local people and their customs and beliefs but also describing the beautiful and not so beautiful landscape along the way. I really do hope that she and Hollywood continue to tour and publish their riding adventures!! I'm 45yrs old and a fellow rider but have yet to undertake any long distance rides but books like these Fuel the Adventurer's Spirit like crazy...so much so that when I'm done going thru things on my own bike then I too hope to experience these fantastic wonders and beauty that a person will experience with Iife on 2 wheels!!👍🏻

After six years of laying rubber on racetracks and immersing herself in the high octane, adrenaline pumping sport of motorcycle racing, Tiffani was yearning for something new from her life on two wheels. Fortunately (or unfortunately), losing her comfortable office job was the perfect opportunity to do exactly that.

Reeling from a recent breakup and with only limited savings from her pub job, a tent, a few clothes, and some tools, all packed on the back of her bike, she was determined to prove herself. She had ridden bikes since her teens and was well-traveled. But nothing could prepare her for what lay ahead.

Absolutely Loved Elspeth's story!!! The adventure she undertook at a time when traveling the world on bike AND at a time when female rider's where completely chauvinisticly patronized my some of the male motorcycling community when she needed that support the most. Can't believe that it took over 30yrs for this FANTASTIC story to come into the light! I'm not gonna lie, I even cried at the end of the book a bit, cause the ending was sad and lonely feeling... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ALL riders regardless of whether your a man or a woman!!!

Undeterred by more than a month of traumatic incarceration, the 'Striking Viking' finished his trip after being released. Three years later he set out into the world on his bike again, this time searching for truth on his own terms in a world that had become strangled by a climate of fear.

Loved this book!! As a fellow rider who's been reluctantly "removed" from riding for a number of years now (tends to happen when ya start a family, haha!). Glenn's tale of adventure on 2 wheels and helping us see the world thru his eyes and they the eyes of the people he meets was so exciting, made me feel like I was his travels with him! It's also refreshing to see just how kind people can be when you try to see the world thru THEIR eyes and vice versa. This was such fantastic book! Funny how I stumbled across this book just as I'm starting to think that my hyatis from riding is nearing its end, its definitely fanned the flames excitement on 2 wheels for me!!
